What's the nearest beach to your house, Sup Forums?

This one about 60 km if reservoirs count as beaches.

Like 5 minutes away. Went and had a picnic there with the family for Easter.

...

I live in Florida.
Daytona beach is about 30 minutes from my house.

>for Easter
for what? Izzat some Aussie holiday?

200km away

I never said it was a GREAT beach. Merely the closest one.

I live in the coast

It's about a 3 hour drive.

a 10 hour drive

That is not a "beach" you faggot OP.

indiana dunes lol

>that pic
>a beach
what did he mean by this?

by that standard i went to the beach today when i pissed a puddle onto the dirt

>Lakes
>Beaches
#JustFlyoverThings I presume

It's kind of hard to see because of the angle, but that stuff along the water is actually a strip of sand. And yes, in the summer, people treat it like a beach, sunbathing and grilling and swimming and so on.

i hate this breed of burger, you're so embarrassing to me, i hate it when i see posts like yours

The next-closest beach is actually along a river. It's also fairly popular in the summer.

OP lives in this location and posted something other than the Pacific Ocean

It's because I live to the southeast of that area, not to the west. The ocean is further away. Hence, it's not the closest beach, or even the third-closest. Due to lakes and rivers, it probably comes in 9th or 10th.

Shut up faggot

Lake/river beaches have advantages, man. The ocean is fucking frigid along the Oregon coast for most of the year. Shallow water heats up more quickly. The ocean beaches are massive and windswept; the lake/river beaches are protected by trees and keep the sand out of your picnic food.

Compare this:

...to this.

Now - where would you rather go swimming?

The ocean

Shi shi beach about 4 hours away from here

*4 minutes

**45 minutes, jesus christ

in our backyard, its really nice but a group of rednecks have been adding shit like ramps and shit for their waterjets. i used to like it because it was so peaceful, swimming in it, seeing the big trees all around it is really nice and amazing to see. at least the rednecks pull out the gators though, yes they are those types of rednecks they eat them

Its like 7 minutes on car from my home

>shit like ramps and shit
>shit and shit

Fuck knows, I'm in the Midlands and nowhere near the sea. Nearest is probably a 2 hour drive away.

Hmm. What about the Derbyshire Blue Lagoon?

>A pool at a disused Derbyshire quarry, known locally as the Blue Lagoon, has been dyed black in a bid to deter people from swimming in it.

>Despite the water at the quarry at Harpur Hill, near Buxton, having a pH level of 11.3 dozens of people still swim there.

Fucking hell, it's miles from me anyway, the actual sea is closer.

How warm is the Volga River in summer? A lot of the beaches look nice.

About 100 yards. I can hear the waves right now.

This awful but for some reason iconic place.

...

Goddamn that looks so damn comfy

All we get is a shitty river with a horrible view

Local Govnyanka

Why is Copacobana bad? Do you prefer Ipanema?

...

Baltic Sea. A day of drive.
>tfw /landlocked/

That tribuga place is blatantly closer to you

~2300 km

Dreggische Fies, dreggische fies, die krieggschde uff der Neggawies

Usually full of student and hippie scum who don't know when to stop drinking or smoking, which is why the police patrols the area

Ten minutes maybe. It's Canada dude, hard to get AWAY from beaches really.

>he doesn't live on the coast

>coast of a swamp

this lake

otherwise the Adriatic sea an 8 hours drive away

Stop dumping all of St. Petersburg's shit into the gulf of Finland

>Baltic """"""""""""""""Sea""""""""""""""""

Sorry, we have no money to repair our wastewater treatment facilities.

>treat it like a beach
you can treat a slut like a lady but at the end of the day she still gonna cuck you

I dunno what the closest one is, but it'd be about 100km as the crow flies.

There's a river a couple kays away though.

I think it's this place. It's a lake with some dunes.
