The Nice Guys

What did Sup Forums think of The Nice Guys?

I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters and the humor was comfy. I burst out laughing when Gosling declared himself to be invincible and proved it. Also the experimental/porn film slut was a qt.

dropped it 20 minutes in

I saw it on a Tuesday. On Thursday, someone asked me if I had seen any movies lately.

I said no, because within two days I had legitimately forgotten I had seen it. I didn't realize my mistake until about an hour later.

It wasn't bad. It wasn't good. It just was.

I quite enjoyed it. Been a while since I've seen a good straight up comedy.

i liked it

Walked out of the theater with 20 minutes left. Terrible story and completely forgettable characters. I can't decide yet if I hate it more than American Hustle or not. Probably not.

I liked Gosling and Crowe. I liked the humour. But I felt the story was really mediocre though. And the movie starts to fall apart towards the end.

Not bad, but not as good as it could have been.

If you didn't find it enjoyable you're legitimately a cunt

I liked it a lot, probably the best movie I've seen this year

Best comedy anyway.

Love this and kiss kiss bang bang

I thought it was really good.

Guess i'm just a pleb.

Goose is the best comedy actor working today

It was not very good. The script was shit and most of the humor fell flat. Goose and Russell were fine.

downey and kilmer did it better

I lost it when goose punches the window and cuts his arm all up

ive seen this post before

No. You are not alone. Post-2014 Sup Forums is legitimately scared to like a film. There will never be another Drive.

It was good, yeah.

People don't like this mediocre movie you faggot. Get over it. Your reaction of blaming the entire board is embarrassing.

WHO TAUGHT YOU MATH

It was great. ADHD capeshitter plebs probably hated it, as evidenced by some of these responses

They should have shown her fucking

Favorite movie I've seen so far this year, along with Demolition and The Big Short.

Wow you have shit taste

This

I really don't understand the problem people had with this movie. how can you not like goose, Crowe and shane black?

no u

The story. It was completely retarded.

Name me 1 movie Sup Forums has universally liked from the past 2 years.

Russell wasn't even fucking trying, being a fatfuck, unfitted jeans and wearing vans when hes over 50. Not one fucking person over 30 dressed like that in the 70s, infact the older people dressed way more formal back then. People didnt wear stubble either, it was shaven or full beard or mustache. Fucking shit!

Pretty funny movie desu, nothing amazing but it was still good. Regardless of what these contrarian faggots say

On the contrary; my taste is innately superior to yours, as I am innately superior to you. You already know this yet struggle against it. Why?

One of the best films of 2016

Nightcrawler

meh. i just don't get why they made it

Wtf do you even mean

Shut up faggot before I FUCK you up.

>tfw holding out hope that RK will do nudity
And instead we get female nudity. As if there isn't already a billion fucking ways to get that.

Epic poast desu, I'm going to take this and use it as copypasta

>I really don't understand the problem people had with this movie
It's not capeshit, a reboot, or a sequel.

It's also not good. Without Crowe or Gosling it would have been completely ignored.

>but if you don't liek it it's because you only watch capeshit xDD

stop being stupid

Woah watch your language edgelord

Yeah, best movie this year for sure. Cloverfield lane was up there as well.

Which kinda tells you how shitty this year has been thus far. A lot of mediocrities, some failures, and only a few that are quite good. Less than last year imo.

State of Hollywood: The Movie. A good, original movie comes along and it tanks hard. People then complain they only make capeshit or reboots now.

I'll stand with you user, I'm coming out as a person who sometimes enjoys the films he watches and that's okay.

I liked it but it kind of served to highlight some shit the director does that I find kind of tiring both here and in kiss kiss bang bang, namely the wise cracking borderline forth wall breaking side-side kick girl who acts like she's aware she's in a comedy action flick and it excites her instead of reacting like a normal human would in the circumstances

I thought the fact that gosling was a functioning alcoholic but it was never directly addressed in any way was a nice period touch

why did his hand bleed so much when he punched the glass

it cut an artery in his wrist m8
they tend to bleed a lot

Because he's a real human bean.

>that webm
lol. shes a good actress

Gosling was surprisingly hilarious
>When he accidentally cut his wrists
>His girly scream when Crowe broke his arm
>"You know who else was just following orders? Adolf Hitler" *wink at Crowe*
>When they drop the dead body over the guys having a celebration

It was a solid 6/10 wouldn't watch again tbph.

Biggest surprise for me was Matt Bomer's turn as a hitman, he did a really good job.

Was hard to take him seriously after watching White Collar but he pulled off the creepy homosexual vibe thing perfectly.

are you implying crowe chose his own wardrobe or what? what a dumb complaint

hes asking why they made this movie when they could have spent that money adding even more cgi explosions to Thor 3

fucking trash. if it wasnt for that blond girl i masturbated to during that movie i wouldnt even remember it

>Also the experimental/porn film slut was a qt.
she was annoying as hell, deserved to be killed

this. also
>swimming in the mermaid's pool
>falling down the hill

but he was a very bad parent.

it kinda bugged me that everyone's clothes looked brand new.

hell, look at that shirt.

I hope he gets more work over that cunt Cavill.

Was some top tier Shane Black, perhaps even better than Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

I just finished this and The Nice Guys was better desu senpaitachi
