你好吗

不错,我的黑人〜你呢?

来自台湾的酷视频:

...

Tell me the pros and cons of masturbating to porn.

大日本帝国万歳!

我很好,你呢?

What are some stereotypes of the Fujian province?

They are poor version of Taiwanese and act Taiwanese, but act more Jewish than them especially the Hakkas

Why are Shandong people so tall?

大家好!谁去过北京?你们可以给我推荐去哪儿,吃什么东西,卖什么礼物吗?

fucking northerners

is suzhou cute? the name sounds cute

>去哪儿
Just google it. Nothing special besides those most well-known ones. If anything, you can search some not so famous great walls online(pic related) to avoid the most famous ones like Badaling which is crowded all day long

>吃什么
for snacks, try 九门小吃 and chain store 护国寺小吃,don't go 南锣鼓巷 or 王府井小吃街 that's exactly where visitors get overcharged or even ripped off

SINK THE CHINKS
youtube.com/watch?v=dpaf4z7fooo
VIETNAM IS THE BEST
CHINKS ARE STINKY

One of my friends in Taiwan said Suzhou historically had a lot of intellectuals and academics. Not sure if that's still true today.

Total number of academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering from Jiangsu (especially southern jiangsu where suzhou locates)still tops all the provinces

>especially the Hakkas
can confirm this in Singapore
other Han Communities are always ambivalent and cautious about them. They're just arrogant, calculative (to the extreme) and think they are far superior then the rest of the Hans and never do they integrate well.
Apparently generations of assimilation within the dialect groups since our forefathers first step foot in Malaya as coolies didn't change a damn thing at all. While the rest of the Han dialects unify as a much stronger Chinese community over the years, the Hakkas on the other hand...

...

They have their own church, their own cemetery, they never approve of "interdialect" relationships. Even if they do they don't give a shit about the other dialect's family members. At times hesitant to use mandarin during gatherings.. Obnoxiously proud of their own culture

That's pretty neat.
>tfw now want to visit Suzhou

What are some stereotypes of the Xinjiang province?

Short, speak in a funny accent, and stingy.

Has Hakka formed any political force or are there nepotism among Lee's family and Hakka community? How does the Hakka community view Lee Kuan Yew?

When the the Japanese user here a few days ago show up again, you may ask him to give you suggestions on visiting Suzhou as he said he had visited there and also generally Japanese like Yangtze river delta area (around Shanghai and Suzhou)

>the guli leaf user
kebab and Uyghurs

are they seen as beautiful and exotic? Uyghurs have the whitish features that chinese love so much

???

An auspicious festival, perhaps?

>beautiful and exotic
true

>the whitish features that chinese love so much
I am confused whether you meant features like white people or just pale skin.

white as in european features, see pic

alright

ooooo what a qt

youtube.com/watch?v=-DSN8dR8Kko

Really? Tbh I haven't met any Hakkas before though, most of my friends are Canto/Hokkien or Teochew. Didn't they know are so exclusive. And I came from a Hokkien Clan school.

white guy here, how do I get a chink gf?

show us your ranking of them here when you have learned about enough Chinese Turkic actresses

Might be VPNs.

Do they teach in English or Hokkien in Hokkien Clan school? What about other Han communities?

>他不説「我的黑鬼」

Last I heard, Singapore is pretty anal about using either English or Mandarin but idk.

>我的黑鬼
that's 买那个(maineige)

Recommend some chink pop songs

Like girl singers and such

What are Guangxi stereotypes?

you need guangxi to make it in guangxi

I work in tourism... I started learning bits & pieces of Cantonese because I encounter a lot of Hong Kongers, but it feels a little pointless since they almost always know English

Am I wasting my time? Should I apply my efforts to Mandarin?

Manduan is the more useful language but it wouldn't hurt to learn the basics. They like it especially if you're a 鬼佬.

Nah all schools in Singapore teach in English. There's nothing special about being in a Hokkien Clan school, just that they are included in a subset of schools that provide a focus on the Chinese culture. So most students accepted into these schools are Chinese, and we learn extra stuff that normal schools don't usually teach, revolving around Chinese traditions and stuff.

>BEIJING — When the pandemonium of the Cultural Revolution erupted, he was a slight, softly spoken 13-year-old who loved classical Chinese poetry. Two years later, adrift in a city torn apart by warring Red Guards, he had hardened into a street survivor.

>His father, a senior Communist Party official who had been purged a few years earlier, was seized and repeatedly beaten. Student militants ransacked his family’s home, forcing the family to flee, and one of his sisters died in the mayhem. Paraded before a crowd as an enemy of the revolution and denounced by his own mother, the future president of China was on the edge of being thrown into a prison for delinquent children of the party elite.

>He did not see his father again until 1972, when Premier Zhou Enlai arranged a family reunion.

>The father, battered and disoriented after years of isolation and interrogation, “looked at his two grown boys, and totally failed to recognize them,” according to his father’s biography, citing an interview with Mr. Xi. The older man wept, and Mr. Xi offered him a cigarette.

>"He asked me, ‘How come you also smoke?’” Mr. Xi said. “I said: ‘I’m depressed. We’ve also made it through tough times over these years.’

>"He went quiet for a moment and said, ‘I grant you approval to smoke.’”

You all should give this a read

Knowing someone's past is a great way to understand their actions today.

Bump

Is the Cultural Revolution for China what the Vietnam War was for America in terms of its lasting damaging impact on the nation's psyche and personally effect on an entire generation of youth?

On the contrary, it was the nation's psyche and people's mentality that decided cultural revolution being carried out in such a violent way imo

Good read. It puts a lot of things into perspective.

It had a significant effect on him.

Ever since he has respected systems and moved slowly so as to not change the system too quickly, and he despises those who attack authority without a care for the consequences.

It explains why he is authoritarian but also understanding of the power of capitalism/globalization (systems).

Anyone remember watching the 2008 Olympics?

I thought it was the best so far. And a great representation of what "China" is today.

most peeps in hong kong don't know english

How much worse is their English compared to the average Singaporean or Malaysian?

I have it on my PC and from time to time watch rhe drummers performance

Never been to Singapore nor Malaysia. As an anglophone who spent sometime in Hong Kong, everytime I needed help from strangers it would take 3-4 tries before finding someone who could speak English.

I learned my lesson though, the younger generation is more likely to speak it.

People here like 鬼佬 much, they will feel happy if you can speak cantonese, and will answer you in english (or hongkonglish).
And many of us speak mandarin even poorer than foreigners, so we are more likely to speak english than mandarin

Do people generally prefer that foreign born chinese use canto or are we just gonna get laughed at and should stick to english?

你们爱HelloChinese?

Some people like me may think that foreign born chinese speaking english in hong kong is so "pretending" even thier mother language is english

Yes that is so weird

>rio

At least no terror attacks

Shitty bait, Nguyễn.
Here's your desired (You).

Vietnam is jungle chink

Anyone else pissed they missed prime china? That late 90s through to Beijing Olympics looked like an amazing time.

I'm Chinese myself and I get so embarassed when I ask Asians born in the West what ethnicity they are. I've found that asking for surnames allows me to know 100% if they are Chinese/Jap/Korean since very few surnames are shared across all 3.

Once they sort out the air pollution mess, it'll be another prime era. Might go to the 2022 Beijing Olympics since I know the government will shutdown all the factories to guarantee blue skies like last time.

why chink sluts like white boi so much

i thought you can tell the difference?

I'm britchink and I can still tell them apart with about 80% accuracy

我的学校有很多的中国人们,美国人们说 "Say "buy that" in Chinese"

delet this

單卡麼麼

I am going to work in Yichang, Hubei province soon. Is anyone familiar with the area?

the fuck are you doing there. teaching engrish?

teaching calculus

did you guys see this video that went viral last week?
youtube.com/watch?v=leFuF-zoVzA

It took place in Shenzhen, which to my extremely limited knowledge of China, is the city directly north of Hong Kong. I know that region of China is primarily Cantonese speaking, but since this video is made by a foreigner, I assume he learned, as almost all foreigners do, learned Mandarin (and not Cantonese).

If my assumptions are correct, how is he able to get by with Mandarin and not Cantonese?

Again, my knowledge on this is very limited and I'm probably making some overreaching assumptions here but I am curious

they teach mandarin in schools

No, but I'd make sure to learn as much practical Chinese before you get there, since it's pretty far from the major cities and I doubt most shop owners will know any English. Should be an ebin adventure, though.

Once you get settled in, if you have time, take a trip to Chongqing or Wuhan.

IIRC, Mandarin has been pushed as the lingua franca down there for quite some time. Also, a lot of people from other parts of China head down there to work. I know a few people in Guangdong province, but most of them are actually from other provinces. However, some of them still learned some Cantonese.

what a dumb faggot. with his knowledge he could have assembled a whole bunch of fake iphones for cheap, sold them, and become rich overnight. but he just gave it all away

you serious? everyone in shenzhen is basically doing just that, no way he can compete

Shenzhen has people from all over the country and Mandarin is the national language.

BUMP

What are some good chinese websites? Something for plebs like a chinese reddit

test

知乎 is fairly close to Chinese plebbit imo

百度贴吧 tieba.baidu.com/index.html
but unfortunately you can't sign up for it unless you have a mainland cellphone number and if you are not its user, many functions are limited

This better than tieba
tho imo its more like quora

I guess I'm a super pleb I was hoping for a chinese website where people just post funny pics and memes

not a website but quite meets your requirement i guess
