Ask a 20yo man who's never watched The Lion King anything.

Which generation grew up with the better kids' movies?

21 here
my parents didn't feed me disney aka american propaganda and I'm grateful for that

The Lion King sucks, what did you have for breakfast?

I watched the first half so if you wanna know anything OP feel free to ask me

Do you feel like you're missing out on something? Becaquse you really aren't desu.

Why is the Gen Z guy's head on fire?

I don't know.
That's not a question.
I didn't have breakfast. Woke up too late today, even missed lunch.

I went to the cinema as a kid to watch it. The first time I cried at a movie I think.

Have you seen Hamlet?

I haven't either, and Lil Dicky spoiled it for me, but it was worth it

Everyone tells me I am, and that I should watch it as soon as possible, but to be honest, it doesn't look like anything incredible
That's very kind, thank you, but I'm good.
Because he's a hothead.

Those aren't questions.
Not yet.

ok, have you seen lil dicky's lion king vid? if not, can you do it now

I haven't either, but will check it out. Thanks, man.

Well, The Lion King is Hamlet with cartoon lions and singing

>Everyone tells me I am

And by "everyone" you mean 20-something year olds, right?

It's a fine flick but it's overrated due to nostalgia. When the next generation comes, Lion King will only be a footnote compared to more important animated films.

Haven't watched it but I bet the jap version is better. It's made by japs after all.

It has much more to do with Henry IV than with Hamlet, which only really lends the usurping uncle plot point to the movie. Simba's not a brooding autist who kills his friends, but he is a partying reveler who learns to mature and take responsibility for the throne such as Prince Hal.

feel old yet?

whatchu mean? what's that called

that game was bullshit, so fucking hard, I think I only know the megadrive version tho

good, this scene gave me weird feelings

Everytime I see this kind of charts I always
wonder, first, how the fuck do you manage
to get credible data from a group so extense
of people. Isn't saying that millenials are self
centered based on a small group of them
just as discriminatory as saying that all black
men are criminals just based on detroit?

That chart is in reverse

And second, how the fuck do you know that 12 years old kids have -and will keep- those traits?

Why not?

(To be fair, I'm older than you are, and haven't seen it either.)

what'd you think? it's pretty comfy no
