yes I've heard a lot about alva noto but not really dived into it yet, queued up. thank you.
Ryan Parker
Ryuichi Sakamoto does some amazing work as well. He has a new album that's just come out and he does a lot of soundtrack work. Highly recommend him if you're into ambient-esque stuff.
>heh, you all have shit taste >doesn't dare to reveal his taste
Also I highly doubt that you literally threw up. Stop misusing words
Samuel Martin
He's just full of shit and ashamed of his taste. :)
Brody Smith
OP, some of that stuff is bordering on not-ambient, but I'm not gonna genre police you
I'm the guy who posts this album all the time. (Biosphere - Cirque)
Jace Adams
>Biosphere - Cirque biosphere microgravity I found at first so boring but I came back to it a couple more times and I liked it (they're good I just didn't get it at first), looking forward to giving this a listen
Zachary Bell
pic related is way better glitch
Sebastian Scott
It's ideal to listen to in the winter as the photo implies, but it is a brilliant and cerebral album in its own right (like most of Biosphere's work).
Also do read his story of climbing the mountain in the pic
popular stuff is actually objectively better than obscure "art" crap. aphex twin is simply a better music author than brain eno or jean claude-bla-blah. It might be hard to accept when you're a misanthrope but the wisdom of the crowds is a real thing.
Ryan Gray
I think you're going a little bit too far here. Yes, there are reasons why things are regarded "classics" but the fact that an artist is undiscovered doesn't automatically render them a bad artist.
Gabriel Taylor
>wisdom of the crowds is a real thing Teleports behind you
Owen Long
music for "airports" XDDDD SO FUCKING RANDOMMMM WACKY LOLLOLE. SO FUGGEN EBINNN
Dominic Fisher
>trying to do a meme about obscure ambient >mentions Brian fucking Eno
At least make fun of somewhat obscure ambient like Sleep Research Facility or something.
Parker Bailey
stop ruining this thread
Jose Adams
I'm not I'm simply parodying him.
Tyler Morris
"Hundred Acre" by Mountains is my personal favorite ambient track of all time.
