Stop being autistic over that

dumb frogposter

Don't ever fade away, I need you here today

>song does a 360 spin and walks away

>song fades out
>fades back in
>fades out
>fades back in
>ends on a fade out

...

Fade-outs are the trademark of the bad songwriter/musician. Simply put, it says they don't know how to end a song. Literally on the same level of hack filmmakers who leave their endings "ambiguous". Notice how no classical composers ever had to utilize the fade-out?

Great bait

imagine if your favorite movie faded out during the climax instead of just ending

That's actually a hilarious concept.

SOME GIRLS ARE BIGGAH THAN OTHAHS

kek
>band is playing live
>song fades out

>song fades out on a guitar solo

I don't even get the point

TV shows would be a better comparison.

>song abruptly stops

And classical music has always the same 3 endings they recycle in every piece

(You)

>song fades out, but abruptly stops before it can fade out all the way

>Song fades out
That's a good one. Biggest fucking cop out. Has pissed me off my whole life.

>3...2...1...GO
>Song starts

>someone keeps calling you while ur listening to an album
Fuck off mum

B-but I like fadeouts! The vast majority of songs don't have particularly creative finishes, they just stop, making 's point wrong. When a song fades out it lets me think in my mind that somewhere out there it's playing on forever, which is essential for a comfy song to make me feel comfy and relaxed afterwords, as opposed to it ending abruptly and leaving me cold and depressed

>3...2...1...GO
>Song fades out

The fade out in Sugar Man by Rodriguez is GOAT

>tfw Sheep
literally why

>song fades out
>3...2...1...GO

>all tracks on an album crossfade

Mark Kozelek did the most creative use of a fade out ive ever heard

I think so too
>When a song fades out it lets me think in my mind that somewhere out there it's playing on forever
exactly how I feel

>Love fades out
I still miss her Sup Forums...

>rap album
>not a single song tries to have an outro or intro and they all fade out

Love in an elevator lovin it up while we're goin down

>notice song sounds a little different
>check player
>song had transitioned seamlessly to the next track

>the outro of a song links to the intro of the next song

>awesome guitar solo plays , but AFTER the fadeout begins.

Seriously wtf

There are songs where a fadeout is thematically consistent, but for a lot of songs yeah the fadeout feels like a copout.

I do too. I'm up at nearly 1am listening to feels. Up for work at 6. Why do we do this.

this

>Song ends on a fade in
