Hey Sup Forums
My aunt is dying and Doctors are saying she probably wont make it through the week.
Can you help me make a playlist to deal with this? Anything thats uplifting would be great
I'm open minded to somber things as well

good, I hope she fucking drops dead already
sorry to hear that. I found Joanna Newsom is pretty good for dealing with heavy stuff, especially her first two albums
i suggest bands/artists heavily influenced by the beatles/beach boys like early of montreal, the shins, early panda bear etc etc. they always work for me.
welp, at least your probably a complete social outcast so will no one will ever have to deal with your venomous personality :/
Thanks guys.
Playlist isnt just for me. I also really want to give it to my cousin.
He's only 21 and his mom is about to pass away from cancer.
>le superiority to make me feel better
kek, terrible tactic. also you're wrong.
>He's only 21 and his mom is about to pass away from cancer.
Holy shit, this just keeps getting better.
sorry user. I hope that it doesn't hit you so hard. I actually have a playlist, but maybe you can also hear "For Emma, forever ago"

i wouldn't call it "le superiority", something more along the lines of "le not morally bankrupt" seems more fitting. and yeah judging from the way your conducting yourself, im wrong.
You'd never say that to anyone in person
I always recommend David Bowie - I Can't Give Everything Away. It's very bittersweet and the way it ends sounds like the musical equivalent of someone's soul passing over imo. You'll get through this user and I believe you and your cousin will be reunited with her soon enough.
stay strong user
>You'd never say that to anyone in person
of course not, I'm not a fucking insane person. This is Sup Forums we're talking on, kiddo.
holy shit you got me!
Why don't you visit them and talk with them and stuff instead of going, "Hey here's a bunch of shitty sad indie rock songs lol."
You did say somber
Listen to some blues

This whole album is great, and the majority of it is more positive, though this song is positive in its own way too.

sigur rós - takk...
>He's only 21
Bitch, my cousin got abandoned by his mom at age 4 and his dad died of cancer at age 5.
GOD HATES DEAD AUNTS
>age 4 and 5
lucky, he was too young to have any meaningful memories of them yet
>Person A is in a slightly better situation than Person B. Therefore, Person A's problems aren't real.
>Oppression Olympics
Please no
I really do feel for him and his cousin. I was just pissed because he said "only 21".
My cousin has meaningful memories of them. I remember him almost on the point of tears when he was staying with my family right after my uncle/his dad died.
You should get low and listen to depressing music to get past this
why are you assuming they haven't/aren't doing this?
lol why would you be pissed. 21 is younger than most people are when they lose their mom. it didn't even happen to you so your elitism regarding dead relatives is a whole lot less forgivable
Found the 14 year old
Not a fucking competition m8
meant for
KILL ALL AUNTS
Chris Bell - I Am the Cosmos
here have a song its totally upbeat

my wife was schizophrenic and threw herself off a building during traffic in the city. she had been holding off for years, probably suffering because she loved me or something. maybe not. not like you can know what other people are feelign or thinking. i used to listen to itaots a lot and cry and would consider drinking bleach or jumping down in front of the train. drank a lot until i was in the hospital. lost my job.
people die its just life. youre gonna die too. its just part of things. its probably not the end, but letting other peoples ends make you end is irrational. perpetual pain and suffering is under your control if you let yourself be ignorant of meaning. you control the meaning, and that means you get to control what makes you sad and i guess just "celebrate life," because life is for the living. its the only way to keep going, lying to yourself in a nice way
try to spend whatever insignificant, pointless time left making yourself feel better about the eventuality because when things come out of nowhere its even worse and it hurts a lot longer
Just listen to the antlers
