It's pretty comfy, i can stream all the stuff on my TV or on my PC. They have a shitload of shows from HBO, Showtime, AMC and local stuff. Also besides F1 i'm a football fan so i also watch Bundesliga and Champions League on it.
I gladly pay for that if it makes my life and viewing experience easier, which it does.

Relatively, Melbourne (where I live) has an absurd cost of living, compared to other cities vs GDP (or something, i'm too tired/drunk to remember). London is harder to live in, but relative to [whatever im forgetting] Melbourne is worse.
If I moved to the country or a smaller city, things would be more affordable, but smaller cities have less job prospects. And things like Booze/Cigarettes are still stupidly overpriced. Fuel is priced higher as well I've heard.

Its the same everywhere though, further away you go from big cities, the cheaper things like houses are. Its just that jobs are 404 and there's fuck all to do and everything is far away and shitty. I'm pretty sure almost all of the rural areas of Finland will be practically abandoned aside from farmers once the next two-ish oldest generations die off. Overall population is going down all the time but the 2-3 big cities are experiencing population growth at consistently growing rates (and its not all refugees either).

If I didn't live with my dad, my budget would in deficit by around 15-25 dollars a fortnight, which adds up quickly (I have some savings)
I get sky through cable tv, but I've done the budget plans to live in a similar area with housemates, and right now, I can't afford it without skipping meals and never leaving the house. Or getting a credit card, which I would rather avoid, because i'm not working a stable skilled job now.

i don't have Sky, I pay 300 pesos a month (my salary is almost 19k) and I get the whole sports pack, that gets all the euro footy + NFL + NBA channel + Mandrama + some golf channel + Fox Sports 3 which is only motorsports + all the tennis action + CanalF1LatinoAmerica, which broadcasts all the F1 races live without commercials. They don't have that great of a content now that the season is over, they broadcast old 80s-90s races mostly.
cost of living here in the capital city is also expensive, food is like 5 times more expensive than in the smaller cities. however salaries here are higher so you can make up for it.
my trip to northern argentina was very cheap mostly because of the wage gaps that exist.
