>lazily animated trash
>greatest music video of all time
okay
...
it's far from lazily animated, but please, by all means, continue to be retarded
I love his delivery and the beat but damn everything else is so shitty.
People are acting like he's the first one to point out that black people are always seen as black people.
nah. it legitimately looks like shit.
how
>O.J. like, "I'm not black, I'm O.J."
>…okay
Jesus Christ this song is garbage.
This and every other vid missy put out in the mid 2000's

I thought we all agreed on this
>People are acting like he's the first one to point out that black people are always seen as black people.
who is doing this
Where to start with Jay-Z?
>inb4 you don't
I love that line, Jay's delivery is pretty funny
Twitter and youtube normies.
no one is claiming he's the first one to point it out, they're just saying it's a good message
I think
I always thought this one was pretty clever
youtube.com
The Blueprint would probably be the best starting point in Jay's discog. Then go to The Black Album, the Reasonable Doubt, then Vol. 1-3, then American Gangster, then 4:44, skip the rest.
never been a fan of jayz but this song is good
these are all garbage
Triggered
Reasonable Doubt. If you don't like that you won't like anything else by him.
Don't listen to .
ur fukken garbage kid
>Too stupid to understand
While on trial, O.J. Simpson supposedly uttered the quote “I’m not black, I’m O.J.” Though there’s no substantial evidence, friends and acquaintances back up the theory, and it has been used in media retelling the story since — the earliest being the 2002 documentary O.J.: A Study in Black and White. It also appeared in the 2016 documentary O.J.: Made in America as well as FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson:
As the trial began, O.J.’s race became more of a negative playing card. With his fame, it had never been much of a topic for conversation. Jay agrees to disagree with his statement, as even though it may have never been much of an issue beforehand, obviously O.J. was always “a black guy, never been nothing but a black guy” – a proclamation the man himself spoke.
While black superstars such as Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, and Jim Brown, to name a few, were quite vocal about the inequities in American society, Simpson was inadvertently loud in his silence on matters of race. Jay spoke on this subject in the Footnotes special, noting the need for those with visibility to not cast aside their background as a scapegoat:
We tend to, as black people — ‘cause we never had anything, which is understandable — we get to a place and we just think we separate ourself from the culture. You know, like where O.J. will get to a space where he’s like, “I’m not black, I’m O.J.” … It’s gonna take for the way-showers to do it and then not get to that point and then turn into like, “I ain’t black, I’m O.J.”
Other sources indicate the quote may have been said during a boycott of the 1968 Olympics, when O.J. was “reportedly pressured by his friend to ‘take a stand’ along with other black Olympic athletes.”

youtube.com

C
are you fucking blind
wow this is amazing
This was close
Hello newfriends, best actual music video ever made coming through
I am guessing there is no radio friendly version of this song?
Great lyrics and delivery
>greatest music video of all time
Interstella 5555
What's with the antisemitism tho?
that might be the worst music video i've ever seen
The funny thing about this is that Jay Z's brilliance in his delivery is that its so subtle. You know he's one of the GOATs but if other rappers say the same lines as him it doesn't have the same effect.
Sorry your taste is so shit senpai.
This guy sort of has it right the other guy is stupid.
start with Reasonable Doubt, then go to Blueprint, then Black Album, then American Gangster, then 4:44 (to see the evolution) and if you want more of him listen to Vol 1 and Vol 3.
this band puts on amazing live shows too
>tfw i can't tell if the people ITT aren't familiar with minstrel cartoons or are just goofies.
not even close to their best video senpai
Probably not the greatest of all time but it's my personal favorite right now.
Incredible, thanks

Go back. Now. This is not your board.

>hurr if you don't gobble up every piece of media that my favorite big black men put out that means you're a racist nazi
Fuck off. I bet you'd let Jay Z fuck your wife while you gobble his balls you pathetic piece of shit.

stop sharing videos and start shitposting faggots
>criticizes the animation
>you must be racist
The delivery is the best part you absolute pleb. it's the expression and sarcasm with how OJ's a fucking Uncle Tom in the middle of such a divisive trial that also abused the public's perception of him as a "brother", manipulated that into the view as a tortured "black man" by the LA Judicial system, by the white man.
And he has the audacity, instead of say yes
'I'm a black man and I'm innocent', to say
'everyone who ever looked up to me for being black and making it I want nothing to do with.'
user didn't actually, explicitly, call user a racist though. user just told user to go to Sup Forums (as if an opinion on animation has political relevance).
>not wanting to jizz on his abs
Faggot
this reminds me really heavily of that l'orange jeremiah jae albumin a really good way, gonna have to give this a listen.the im not black im oj . . . .ok line is hilarious.
>element
that video was trash man
Anyone else think this is likely going to be Jay Z's last good album
While I liked this I'm still shook at how bad MCHG was
You talking about The Night Took Us In Like Family? I'm 8 tracks in right now and its a crime that i didn't find out about this album sooner. It's fantastic so far
