why bagged milk?

It won't. Bagged milk is stupid. Milk is a liquid. Why would you drink a liquid from a bag?

Liquid from a bag?
>never happen

You store it in a bag and pour it on cereal

...

you dont drink it from the bag silly..

Bagged milk is a faggot Canadian invention and may it die like the rest of Canadians (all 6 of them) including Justin Truedough

Bagged milk produces less waste than alternatives

That's more of a container

never because you can't close those bags

A bag its not a container?

>things that don't happen anymore

I'm sorry I can't hear you over american milk jugs

You dont need to

The FUCK you say!

When will bagged milk even become common in Canada?

when will canada burn to the ground

Alberta almost did last year

I don't need an almost.

The bag is plastic just like gallon containers and can be recycled

Never since it's way more efficient to have it in a bottle

You're right again

That's how they do it in northern Canada. Shipping milk in plastic bags is cheaper because it weighs less. The cost of moving product is so high, the cost of food is ridiculous. So light weight bag wins over carton or plastic jug

Your knowledge of the world is impressive

Tell us everything you know
>we got a minute

Fuck canada anyways

>Sometime around the 30-neverth of Neverember 20-never, ah guesses.

You sound like a box man

you still there?

All cow milk is bagged

Milk dispensers in the US were using bagged milk in the late 70s - I delivered them and loaded them into the dispensers. Think school lunch room or nursing home. Multi-gallon bags. 40 years ago.

>im over 40 years old and posting on Sup Forums

now THATS the terrifying part

And the excess gas from the extra trucks to cart the extra plastic. No wonder we're less polluted. more waste.

All that summer edge.

I'm 54. There are a lot of us actually old-fags on here.

Yeah don't listen to that little faggot.

I can't tell if it's powder or liquid

It tastes better

dont get too upset, might die of old age there, gramps

When dumb fags like yourself keep reproducing

The real question would be:
When did bagged milk become more common in the US?
Bagged milk is common in the hole continent since the 2000s but the US retards always thought it was weird

When it doesn't taste like ensure.

The concept of bagged milk is ridiculous. Bags of milk are unsealable, can be popped, poorly designed for transport, and just all around inconvenient. Americans won't change for the inferior method of milk storage.

Because a gallon in a rigid plastic container makes more sense.

Perhaps you need a new prescription for you bifocals.

>The concept of bagged milk is ridiculous.
>concept

Having used both I can say this is false. Jugs are more hassle.

>lemme put my cut open bag of milk back in the fridge
>inherently spills the fuck everywhere because that's what fucking bagged milk will do
>bazinga!

That's an anecdote and a weak one at that

How? Why a plastic container ?

wow, I didn't know you were this retarded

Oh let's see
>can be easily transported sans waste (card board boxes, dividers, tapes etc)
>easy to carry
>easy to store
>no need for extras like a jug
>won't break if you drop it
>not fucking retarded

It's almost like the entire world has some form of rigid container to hold milk except the fucking Canadians and their bagged milk

Elite Tier: Glass Bottle

Peasant Tier: Plastic Bottle

Subhuman Tier: Plastic Bags

wow i bet you're a really interesting guy

>OberWeis milk
Muh nigga for real

Are you really saying individual plastic containers for milk has less waste than bags? How retarded can you possibly be?

Do you really think the milk gets shipped individually? Do you not know anything about shipping and distribution?

How fucking retarded do you have to be to have trouble carrying a fucking bag?

Plastic jugs break all the fucking time because they're cheap, trash plastic

I still think bagged milk its better although I must recognize its hard to transport from one place to another.
I don't really think its retarded but bagged juice...that's really retarded.

I made an absurdist observation, you can obviously place it a jug
>learn2joke

You know it goes in a jug still, right? Do you have parkinsons and therefore can't hold it steady? How do you manage to hold the unwieldly heavy 3.89 litre jug?

Ever drop a gallon jug while fumbling with your apartment keys? Yeah, they do fucking break and it's a lot of fun having to borrow a goddamn wet/dry shop vac from the building manager to clean it up before it dries.

Also, I only remember seeing bagged milk in Manitoba for a brief period during the 1990's. Maybe they still have it out east or up north but I seriously haven't seen it or the plastic pitchers for it anywhere else in a long time.

Elaborate how cutting open a bag, putting it in a pitcher, and having to drink it all within a short period of time is less of a hassle than twisting a cap?

...

glorious,we should set some bionics majors to invent a device for milk storage that has a similiar, bag-like strcture

why the fuck should it?

Hey fuck nuts, how about you get some reading comprehension before you think I'm am stupid as you
>milk jugs
>transported in milk crates that are reused
>made of thin 80% plastics that can easily be broken down

Bagged milk
>needs boxes for each set of (let's say 20)
>meaning a truck filled with cardboard boxes that you need to open and take the bag milk out of
>bags made of 95% plastic
>same shit that plastic soda rings are made of
>that made environmentalists shit in rage

End your life

>like the entire world has some form of rigid container to hold milk
>derp

you're really not helping yourself, retard

stop responding

It's not called bagged milk
It's called sachets
Learn to say the damn names

Canada isn't the entire world faggot

Japan has cardboard container
China uses plastics
Usa uses plastics
Mexico uses cardboard
All of Asia I didn't mention used cartons

HuH. .. it's like only Canada is retarded

They're not shipped in boxes in any place I've seen, they're shipped in the same plastic crates

Are the people where you're from so retarded they make their milk bags out of non recyclable plastic?

i can't believe a debate about milk storage is getting this heated.

Wisconsin here,

We have all 3, bagged, plastic, and glass.

Bagged is usually cheaper, it's typically sold at the convenience stores like Kwik Trip.

>Elaborate how cutting open a bag, putting it in a pitcher, and having to drink it all within a short period of time is less of a hassle than twisting a cap?
Our 4 ltr bags are split into smaller portions and therefore take longer to spoil. Hole in the bag so no need to twist the cap every time. Also the pasteurization of bagged milk is different because of the bagging that dramatically improves taste.

Reply to this post or your milk will come bagged this night, nothing can save you from this

>Hole in the bag so no need to twist the cap every time
>bagging that dramatically improves taste

the same time we go metric.
NEVER!
stick your milk bags up your dickhole, communist faggot!

>Bagged milk
>needs boxes for each set of (let's say 20)
>meaning a truck filled with cardboard boxes that you need to open and take the bag milk out of
>bags made of 95% plastic
>same shit that plastic soda rings are made of
>that made environmentalists shit in rage
This is all wrong.
This is a milk crate. It holds 24 litres of bagged milk. Would only hold 7.78 of jugged milk. cheaper and easier to transport. Crates are reusable. Bags are made of the same recyclable plastic as jugs but far less waste and polution from shipping and processing.

Point being
> LOOK! A RIGID PLASTIC CANADIAN CONTAINER!!!
>HuH. .. it's like only Canada is retarded
Nope. Just you.

>Not trying it and thinking he can talk shit.

>open bag, as you already stated "open hole, no need to close lid"
>exposed to everything else in the fridge and absorbing it
>tastes better
wew lad

and yeah, i have actually as laugh...it tasted like...cheap milk, the kind that has so little effort put into it its fucking bagged to save costs

Reusable Glass gallons

Image fucking saved lmao

m.youtube.com/watch?v=1TeRDhf41Mk
Apparently the milk in a bag is a lie

Checkmate bitch

its pretty gr8

>I'm a pathetic weakling who can't lift 8 pounds
We know.
That's why we disregard your opinion.

Will never happen, you have too many kids abducting monthly, they can't print those alerts on plastic bags

Oh what about cooking, baking, or just having a small glass for kids?
Yeah, gee I guess you do need to.

>When will bagged milk become more common in America?

Just use Pfandflaschen ....

You must have the jankiest shit tier fucking distributors imaginable. Our fucking containers are almost indestructible. Only weakness is if you drop it on it's lid corner.

They aren't meant to be juggled you goddamn maniac.

>bagged milk
>use a SOLID PLASTIC container to store opened bag of milk
>?????

When storing milk in a plastic container that is only 1/4 the size of a Murican milk jug is viable
>tfw more plastic in the ocean is better thanks canacucks

I have been to China, bagged milk is goddamn terrible.

People drive from all over to get AE milk, that feel when I can go buy it at any time.

We hat milkbags and containers like that till the 70's here in german. I remeber that shit. Was a real pita for us kids

Woot, now I have yet another dish to wash.
Or I could just buy it in a jug and recycle the jug.
Which one is more convenient.

Milk exposed to everything in the refrigerator, dirty up a dish that has to be washed, shit slopping all over when you pour it, slipping and sliding all over hell when you store several in a stack, and trying to get that shit home without popping it. Sounds real convenient to me.

Powdered milk is king bitches.

autism in final state

Glass break easily tho

Man Sup Forums will actually argue about anything
