This is our year isn't it?

>Rags

>rags

Las Vegas needs an MLB team now.

No

>Rags

This is the >rags year isn't it?

Call them the Las Vegas Roses and their mascot is Pete Rose.

Umpires completely fucked us missing those strikes like that. Sad.

>the >Rags of Arlington, TX

Wanna bet?

All of the Indians on the rotation will throw at least 1 perfect game

>Los Ragus

Royals

It's your last chance to win it all, that's for sure.

Last digit confirms the number of WS the Dodgers win in the next 10 years.

Last digit confirms the number of season the Dodgers miss the playoff in the next 10 years

Maybe. But at least we will constantly be in the playoffs considering we are league better than anyone else in our division.

Even though my A's are a dumpster fire, they are INFINITELY better than the Rags because they have rings unlike you.

Mariners capture the division and the WC is, again, all ALE

I'd say it's a 4 way race right now excluding Oakland.

We don't need another meme offense team in the league. The Rockies are good enough.
The elevation and dry air in Vegas would probably make playing there even worse than playing in Coors.

Have this right now for the AL

1. Houston
2. Cleveland
3. Boston
4. Seattle
5. Anaheim

Toronto over Boston if their pitching bombs it

I despise the Jays, but they'll do better than the Anals.
Also I'll call one and two fluid, could go either way with those two imo

AL West should be the best division this year. All teams are highly offensively (especially in Houston/Seattle's case) and defensively (especially in Seattle/Anaheim's case) equipped for interdivision play, every team got better except maybe Texas even though they're still an above .500 team (their entire pitching staff is a question mark but if they get very lucky like last year they'll be in the playoffs)

>1923+94
>"""""People""""" STILL don't think the Yankees will win it all

They'd play in a retractable roof or a dome if Vegas got a team. But they'll only get a team if the A's think of leaving Oakland (which with the Raiders leaving, only increases their chances of building a ballpark in Oakland)

Yankees are trash. They will never be competitive again.

Or maybe if the D-Backs ballpark situation goes awry, they could be a realistic relocation option too if the conditions are met

HEY

YES

Get Ohtani first, then I might consider it.

Is Joey Votto the most patrician batter in baseball?

>a fucking leaf

>A fucking Mariner

>Orioles, OF Mark Trumbo reportedly close to 3-year deal

1. Rangers
2. Seattle
3. Houston
4. Anaheim
5. Oakland

Too bad they actually made a mistake. They accidentally signed Mark Turmbo instead.

Last two digits is how many Trumbombs Trumbo hits next year

GO BRONCOS AND ROOKIES!

i have nothing against the angels

I've been following baseball for a year and I still don't have a team
The closest team is 7 hours away from me

What team is that?

The Braves?

Which one's that

The braves and the nats are both 7 hours away actually
O's are basically 7 hours away

North Carolina needs a team desu

NC fag?

I'd pick the Braves dude. They'll be good in a few years time. You can always root for the closest minor league affiliate's parent club too

I don't listen to the opinions of tripfaggots, anyone else have a suggestion?

Bro you live in the mecca of cheap trashy A-Ball just go to those games for like 5 smackaroos.

Maybe. I've followed the Charlotte knights a decent bit, which is a white sox affiliate.

is a different guy btw

Root for the Dodgers. They have the undisputably best starting pitcher, shortstop, closer, defensive outfielder, and first baseman in baseball, plus their team is the complete opposite of a meme team.

I agree, the Dodgers need all the energy they can get to get over that 28 year hump

>defensive outfielder

lmao

Do you like anime senpai?

Only Jojo's and DBS because I'm a nastolgia fag

Guess you'll fit in well with the White Sox fans here then.

Nice to see another Jojo fan though

Why isn't there more baseball relocation talk?

Only the A's and the Rays are really considered relocation prospects amd they both seem pretty committed to figuring out the stadium situation in their current locations.

>Trumbo signs 3 year 37.5 million deal
That's it?

Teams with no attendance still pull in ~$100M between the shared league revenue and their own regional TV deals, making relocation too difficult to be worth it until the stadium actually falls down or something.

>gib closer nao, puhleeeze.

Because the league is swimming in money so there's no reason to relocate to a friendlier lease of market or expand for more investment and more jobs for teams.

Fay Vincent is on record saying that the two expansions in the 90s were principally to counteract stagnation from the widespread contract collusion post free agency.

The Nats have good ownership and a decent GM. Those are pretty good indicators for prolonged success.

Cubs should've snatched him up when they got the chance

Yeah shields can't even be average

MLB teams have fans who pay attention for more than 30 seconds if the team isn't 4 time repeating champions

Apparently MLB sees some value in keeping teams where they are. Even the Rays sold well over a million tickets last year.
