ITT, forgotten Sup Forums-core albums

ITT, forgotten Sup Forums-core albums.

lol

...

...

...

oh u should take it easy
(take it easaaay)

crazy to think this and Goblin were once legitamte contenders for Sup Forums core and now barely anyone gives a fuck about them

...

...

literally better than OP pic.

I think his latest album should be Sup Forumscore.

...

Not quite Sup Forumscore but I recall coming on Sup Forums for the first times when this had just came out

Sup Forumss powerpop phase was fun

what are the names of these albums?

>tfw people don't even recognize ultra popular indie stuff from 2010 anymore
>i feel old

Mediocre indie records. Really, the fact they have beem forgotten tells you all about their apeal (acceptable, perhaps even highlights of their years, but not game changing in the history of pop music)

Except Portishead's Dummy, tho

reverse image search my guy

...

this was the worst of the worst

people were shilling this fucking garbage for MONTHS. holy fuck it was so bad.

>you will never relive the buzzband era of 2009-2012
memerap was a mistake

i remember this shit felt so fresh and new at the time. in retrospect it wasn't really anything special but it was a fun time to be a music fan.

...

To this day I'd never noticed the tranny horse was holding a gun, always assumed it was a guitar

...

The Antlers - Hospice

what trite

2010 was such a good year for music
Sup Forums was also great at that time

Not trying to sweat brag here, but I played in a band that opened for them a few times recently. I had almost forgotten about this album and they went into "Swim" and all my highschool feels came back. feelsgoodman.

Memory Tapes debut is still a GOAT album I dont care what anyone says

Fuck off aaron

I loved it.

neon indian, japnndroids and washed out were awesome, best coast's debut was super catchy.
>tfw you will never go back to 2010

I'm so glad that Sup Forums got out of its landfill indie phase.

i remember this
also DADS

that record bangs though

still listen senpai

TELL ME TELL ME MIRANDA WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF TOMORROW?

rest in peace

this

b a d album

I like it 7,5/10

Shit Twins is GOAT though

I still like Japandroids and Neon Indian, but that's about it/

>tfw it's painful to listen to Japandroids now because my recent ex took me to one of their concerts even though she hardly knew who the fuck they were and got really into them for me and it was a all around great time

Yeah I'm a fag what of it.

holy fuck I never in a million years thought I'd be nostalgic...for the early 2010s.

I still like Neon Indian, Washed Out, Real Estate and Local Natives

But yeah, indie rock revival when???

Still fuck with Japandroids

I will never forget this
More like 15 yr old girl core

It's a hard album to talk about

...

Doused is an excellent song and the rest is so goddamn boring I can barely remember it

Listening to this album right now.

I'm not really into third-wave Post-Rock but this is legitimately good. Thank you user

Even that was better than the rap/top 40 shit that gets spammed now.

way too good to ever be considered Sup Forumscore

...

...

Voices of North American Owls

Man, FlyLo really fell off the radar

...

Still love this one

Still like Neon Indian and Washed Out. The rest can go to hell. Especially Local Natives and Best Coast.

that first free energy record is so good. all that other shit was/is garbage.

also in fosters shit beer font

Currently my favorite album, actually.
Easily top 5.
I would argue People Who Can Eat People by AJJ.

I am so glad that the internet music community in general seems to be moving away from all the repetitive indie garbage. It's really some of the folky guys and Mac Demarco that are left. Goddamn, some of the most boring music in the world with the most pretentious fanbase as well.

you're right

...

Doused is good but a blatant Cure ripoff

Best Coast

This just fell off the radar after it turned out that it was just shilled relentlessly by an ad firm hired by their label.

Why? The board legitimately had taste back then. Now this place and r/music are indistinguishable. Seriously, there are actual discussions about Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin here now.

The world is a beautiful place and i am no longer afraid to die
candy claws

That's because half (or more than half) of this board are literal redittors now

Sup Forums as a whole has gone completely down the shitter in the last 3 or 4 years
