1080p Blu-ray rip

>1080p Blu-ray rip
>1 GB

is there a pepe version of this pic?

i agree though a 1080 bluray rip should be 10GB minimum

6GB

maybe for 720 rip

4GB+ and you might as well just buy it

2-3gb is the ideal size

wtf? max size for 720p is 3gb or I won't download it

7-10 is the sweet spot imo. But I just delete after watching would get bigger if i saved em

This. Not gonna sacrifice that much space on my hard drive for a single movie unless it's some visual masterpiece like Life Of Pie.

>Jon
>tron

Thanks YIFY!

Pleb or aus desu

yify is like 800mb retard

the human eye can only see up to 720p. so what's the point?

How big are x265 encodes nowadays

Those 6GB are actually 720p genius. Real 1080p is going to be 10+GB.

semi-related. when did torrentzeu.filespook get taken down? or is it just temporary?

>description just says it's subbed
>doesn't say what language
>no comments either
>download it anyway
>hardsubbed in chinese with no subtitle file
Why even have the description in english?

>1080p rip
>350mb

Depends on bit rate and compression level but it's usually around 20-30% smaller than h.264 just gotta have a good cpu

>720p rip
14 MB

get a better screen or fix your eyesight

>1080p Bluray rip
>.EXE

where the fuck do you download movies from

>A:7
>V:7
>download it
>its like 1 A and V

Even 10GB rips pale in comparison to actual blurays.

You don't care that it looks like shit? Do you watch films on a 12" laptop screen?

no dude it's science, Cavemen didn't have 1080p screens so our eyes never developed that far.

>.mkv
>.avi

>xvid

ref=9-16 / analyse=0x3:0x133 / me=umh / subme=~10/ crf=15-19 depending on psy_rd, qcomp and source.

>Do you watch films on a 12" laptop screen?
Yes.

.mkv is the best format though

>tfw can't watch anything other than mp4 through tv because otherwise the filetype is unsupported

None of this is as bad as the fact that there are people on Sup Forums who watch movies on their phone or tablet.

Leave.

real blu-ray iso's are like 40+GB

what?

how does yify do it, literally a god amung men, a pure genious.

it doesn't play anything other than mp4. so i have to find mp4 torrents or convert them with ffmpeg

you play off TV?
why

at least chromecast? or something with mobile VLC?

lel @ your life

sorry i meant dvd player and usb through the tv

>tfw fell for the 5k retina meme and everything looks like shit unless it's 10GB+

Why convert, when you can just remux with ffmpeg.

>using some garbage tv decoder not a htpc setup

>"converting" files when all you have to do is remux into a different container

nigga you are all sorts of dumb

>arguing about container formats
You can quite literally copy the information from an mp4 file and put it in an mkv file and it would work just fine

tbqh i don't know what i'm talking about. i'm pretty sure i do that remux thing with ffmpeg rather than converting. whatever
ffmpeg -i filename.mkv -codec copy newfilename.mp4
does

>.EXE
>752 kb

It's an install wizard that installs the kino onto the hard drive.

But you can't go backwards because mp4 has fuck all support.

It doesn't support any of the "cinema" audio formats like AC3 or DTS variants and it doesn't support any good subtitle format like ASS or SRT.

The only fucking reason mp4 still exists is because of apple. MKV is THE container and only shitters hate it because their shitty dvd player or whatever doesn't support it.

>download the Witch YIFY 1080p rip
>always been a fan of the boys at YIFY. They've never let me down
>plug USB into my 42" TV with the film on
>film has a lot of fade to black moments
>my heart sinks
>notice there's a lot of shitty black squares during the fade to black moment
>feel cheated and lied to about the film being 1080p
>"the boys at YIFY wouldn't do this, would they?"
>Audio was still a solid 10
>video in the end was only a 5 at best during dark moments
>"this can't be happening... Everyone rates YIFY as A+V a 10"
>mfw the boys at YIFY aren't that great after all

my dvd player cost £70, so it's hardly shitty
and mp4 is clearly the best

>A+V a 10
And you said the audio was 10, so what does that make the video? C'mon, this is basic algebra, brah.

The video is supposed to be a 10 but it was a 5

Da fuq container do you watch nigger? mkv is GOAT

>Blu-Ray rip of TV series
>every filename is "show.name.s05e04.1080p.x264.f4gG0TT"
>have to look up proper episode names while avoiding spoilers

>Not just namingly "chapter 01, chapter 02"...

>Not using a media device with scraper add-ons

Scrub, MKV is godlike.

>Implying anyone can tell the difference between a 6 GB rip and a 46 GB one.

>user insists h265 quality is "just as good"
>uses a transcode of a transcode to prove his point

>implying I don't want a massive data hoarding library simply for the sake of it

I can tell the difference but it's not big enough to care about.

The difference between

This. It's fine if you want to watch shit bitrate encodes but don't insist there isn't a difference.

Dank memes aside the difference is very noticeable if you're watching them both on a fancy 10-bit 4K television, if you're just watching them both on a laptop the differences are almost indistinguishable

Download Filebot, open folder and will scrape from tvdb.

When I was first setting up Plex, XBMC I had a hell of a time with over 200+ TV series being completely retarded renames until finding that and doing entire shows in seconds.

who /remux/ here

ACTUAL this. Life of Pi is the largest movie on my hard drive.

>Not just memorizing the standard release group nomenclature

>Do you watch films on a 12" laptop screen?

ummmmm as a matter of fact uhhhh yyeah?

sm͏h

>he doesn't get 18-36gb rips
>he doesn't buy his kino or have a remux

>if I downloaded a 40.000 GB file it will make up for my small penis and shortcomings in life

Tell me your secrets

>I don't have a big enough tv to watch something properly on but I have a big dick

>4GB
>For a 2+ hour movie

Jesus Christ man, my LOST collection is 7GB per episode.

>not the editing final in prores4444 XQ in 4k on a 6 terabyte SSD via thunderbolt 3 through a quadro 12 bit color video card

Upper kek!

My dick is average. However people who compare sizes obviously have some insecure issues.

>just gotta have a good cpu
This is false, just don't play it on vlc and it'll work even on a decade old toaster.

lurking...

I have a small penis.

It's rather terrible.

Please don't make fun of me.

>1080 Blu-ray rip
>700mb

Who /lowbitrateforsubhumanthirdworlders/ here?

Mine above average I think

HAHA

I bet it really looks embarrassing when you bring in your buck

This, the human eye can't see past 480p anyways.

no retard

The human eye can see past 24fps. Resolutions don't matter.

YIFY's audio was something like 98kb/s.

That's literally mobile phone tier. Anything that isn't Dobly Digital and or 1500kb/s isn't worth listening to

Tell me why my 60fps rips of aliens, planet of the apes, star trek and harry potter look different because I can actually see frames I hadn't before and my timing of the ones I know well is ooff because the ffps is acclerated.

If only your ability to perceive irony was as good as your ability to perceive frames.

Downloading movies in a non-native framerate

Fuck, I nearly got quads

>Watching movies with framerate interpolation

Only because I've seen them a million times. I know it funks up the camera work but I dont watch it normally

Thanks YiFY

>not downloading the remux

Anything under 8-10 GB and you might as well just rub shit into your eyes and under your eye lids and slap some in your ears too for good measure.
Kill yourself YiFi!

>all this bullshit
All my 1080p files are 3-8GB.

What are you guys going to do when the Neon Demon has a ~4GB web-dl release?

You guys either think that is shit quality or too big to download.

What's so bad about it?
muh soapbox effect

They're not even real frames. They are frames some computer invented. And the movies were made to be watched at 24 FPS.
