Essentially, if you actually watch TV over here, even if you don't want or watch the BBC, you need a license of 145.50 bongs a year that funds it so there's no adverts on it etc.

I moved out my parents home at 19, haven't paid a TV license in 4 years, I get BBC and all live TV and I've had no letters or people coming around.
