Saw them live recently, and it was just a fun time. They put on a great live show. Definitely recommend.
I still bump 96 Quite Bitter Beings regularly
CKY hits something carnal, I remember both my parents at separate occasions growing up asking me to put in my mix CD that had CKY on it.
I can agree with this. Honestly? Listening to Camp Kill Yourself Vol. 1 makes me feel like I did when I would still skateboard. Sort of a devil may care attitude.
Yeah m8. They're a great band. But even more interesting is their 'lore'. Fucking top tier lore. Their background is so down to earth yet non nonsensical that I love it.
so nonsensical*
CKY reminds me of stick animations on Newgrounds for some reason

Joan of Arc, and also most Tim Kinsella things outside of capn jazz
Ay mates, thanks for the (Yous) but can you provide some music from the artists that you're listing? A simple YT link?
Simple request; it's what's makes the best Sup Forums threads.
can create an entire playlist from 1 thread
that actually reminds me of some based Offspring.
But it's cool that they actually sampled CKY in that flash vid
Sure thing. Currently waiting on ride, so I got you with a few links after I get back.
I fucking hate their unoriginal band logo.
They're a bunch of stoner/alcoholic/skaters... what can you expect?

Actually, it's not 'unoriginal', technically, the "popular" designs followed them.
CKY is from before skating was even 'mainstream' in America.
these bastards deserve better recognition, gothic americana with psycho and punk influences
