No it's actually much more than that, fortunately. Certain artists stand out as good and bad for sure. Old Tower is quite good. Blood Tower is also good. They have their distinctive flavors and styles

You could also always try other scanning methods. Maybe photographing it with a camera, then printing it and repeat. Or sending it to yourself by fax.
