Socialist countries are at the top of the list in citizen happiness studies. Lol and you cucks still sit here and say that socialism is shit while you work wage slave jobs for your bosses that give you zero healthcare or free college tuition paid for through taxes. You really are a bunch of dumb cucks that donno what best for you.

Hint: Every developed country has a mixed economy combining socialism and capitalism. There's no such thing as a "socialist" country.

Bhutan is considered the happiest country. It's ruled by a religious oligarchy and people who dissent are shunned from society. Happiness studies and fucking stupid and pointless.

Pro hint: Practically all developed countries are to the left of Ameritards.

Go to Venezuela and tell me how happy the starving people are.

>
What a typical fucking republitard. Unable to see that Venezuela is suffering because it placed all its bets on oil then oil crashed. It was financial mismanagement, but that would require you have an IQ above down syndrome in order to understand economics.

Socialism: why it's a drawing, not a picture of an actual city.

I know that. I was merely providing an example of how Socialism has failed miserably.

Socialism is not the "utopia" people think it is.

So if they were capitalist and hedged all their bets on oil, their economy wouldn't have collapsed?

*Looks at capitalism. See that the vast majority of its population is poverty stricken even when working 40 hours a week* Lol capitalism is so much better...Fucking retarded faggot you are.

Omg someone with some reasoning skills.

Could it be because unhappy ones flee the country?

Well just seems to me like that they were fucked regardless of what their economic infrastructure was. If "oil" was what they were going to invest into, then it's not the fault of their own economy.

Maybe. Maybe not. This is not a debate on "what if"

Socialism is pretty much equivalent to Communism.
The idea that the govt dictates all facets of my life is, quite frankly, scary.

Exactly.

Bonus points for being mostly white also

False equivalency, you mean. By definition, government controls all aspects of production and industry, in Communism. Socialism is a shared system between all citizens.

No it is not. Communism is complete government rule and control. In socialism the government only controls part of the economy. Such as healthcare, college, water, electric, the big things. And there is democratic representation in socialism. Jesus fuck just learn some things.

There's absolute poverty and relative poverty. Capitalism has done more to bring the world out of (absolute) poverty than anything else.

When there's fat people living on the street with cell phones here and huge portions of the population literally starving to death there goes to show people are better off living off of capitalist scraps than socialist countries that pray the price of a single fucking commodity doesn't fluctuate.

No... That's not what socialism is.

Socialism is the use of social policy*. For example, taxes that pay for Fire and Police services. That's a socialist concept. Taxes that pay for infrastructure and social welfare (Medicare and Medicaid), etc. That's all socialism in action.

"Socialism" became a dirty word during the McCarthy era, but not because the concept of socialism is bad, but because we saw ourselves at war with "Communists."

Further, socialism is not mutually exclusive to capitalism. You can have a capitalist economy and still enact socialist policies. That's currently what our country does.

>Venezuela
this kills the socialism

to me it just seems like socialism creates an entire class of lazy fucks who just leech off welfare and contribute nothing back to the country. Even here in america theres tons of people who just eat up food stamps and unemployment. While claiming they cant find work. I really feel for those who work long hours and end up paying tax for themselves and for some lazy fucks kids

Literally false. Provide *any* sources for those claims.

No sources, im just going off of what I see and I see it alot here.

You're describing "confirmation bias."

They don't have as good art though ;)

I rest my case.

No way fully socialist countries are the happiest. At least not when full scale socialism was prevailing. Happiness may have increased in former socialist regimes since loosening up l... but back then? Nah. Breadlines arent cool

Hate both of them, but that's not socialism. That's fascism.

"GIVE ME MONEY FOR DOING NOTHING"

Socialism 101. Fuck you fags who leech off my salary via this countries trash welfare.

I just read the article and it polled students.

Students, in general, DO NOT have to provide for a family and be part of the work force until they graduate. They, in general, only see what their parents provide them.

Do I have food? Do I get healthcare? YES.

The article is quite biased.

Point taken but you don't know shit about Cuba. Come mierda!
