ITT: we only post 10/10 rap albums

ITT: we only post 10/10 rap albums

anything by 2CHAINZ OR LIL WAYNE
The greats IMO

worst album of all time

...

No no and no

Kanye albums are good, I love them, but I wouldn't line them as rap albums.
A 10/10 rap album is
And pic related

Go pray to your timb collection you fucking oldhead.

OP, you said 10/10.

This is not 10/10.

It's like a 6/10

OK OP AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THE THREAD I WILL START

...

pic related, and Skelethon by Aesop Rock are my favorite things hip hop has ever produced

i wouldnt say it's 10/10, boombox sucks, but i listened to this shit every day when i was in 9th grade. such a good album. tugboat complex and shovel are just insanely good

...

old school fag here

Get some taste bro it got a bnm from pitchfork...

...

B8 harder faggot

this and his other album cold vein or both 10/10 for me

...

Here you go

I bet this is played at every reddit meetup

wtf??

behold

...

I MEAN I LOVE NEW YORK BUT
OF COURSE

basic and boring

...

...

...

i love you

I hope you're being ironic

This, kanye is fucking RnB at best. Combination of heavy RnB, heavy pop, and light rap.

>rap
>10/10

Calling someone old doesn't make your albums less shit

...

...

It's so boring after a few songs

Boi

...

This is actually perfect :)

...

...

I love it but i think the skits/outros to some tracks bring it down

Well it's this.

Bole

Obvious pick I know

Explain to me how these are all anything above a 5.

What do you actually like about the album?

>rap
>10/10

choose one

This, at most it can be an 8 if I'm being generous and if you think any rap album is a 10/10 you haven't expanded your horizons

*tips fedora*

Right? We were born in the wrong generation, man. Imagine living in the 80s, being able to go to Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, The Who, Queen, and so many other amazing concerts. Now my only choice is Kanye West and Justin Bieber.

>said by the underage white boy who only listens to hip hop because it makes him feel "hard"

...

...

Help my understand. This is easily his most boring release to date.
Why won't you guys suck off Shadow of a Doubt? That was actually good.

>80s

That's his only entertaining and genuine album, because he is carried by madlib for most of it

The production is half the problem, madlib or not it sounds like every other "anti-mainstream" hip hop album from the past couple of years.

I want to like RTJ so much but I've never heard a song of theirs that went above an 8/10

lol

Wrong. Last night I was listing to folk music.

this guy gets it

lol

It's a law of nature that every hip-hop discussion thread has to have one post like this

No rap/hiphop album deserves a 10/10

any thing dis mf makes is perfect

Not a ten, but pretty fucking close.

...

...

Nothing, I like it because other people do.

Eat a dick jiggy rappin ass clown.

The best album of all time

>Tyler The Creator less white than Big Boi

these and Impossible Kid are the closest, but no dice

...

...

Has anyone even heard any of the obscure things I've posted itt?

obscure != 10/10 desu
still worth a listen though

...

>Houston Old Head
>Bass
>Peso
>Brand New Guy
thank you based pretty motherfucker

You listed my favorites basically,
also get lit, keep it geee, palace, leaf and especially roll one up have to be called out

how could I forget 'say wassup' ? kek

Get Lit is another favourite. It's crazy that it's six years old.

it's crazy he will never top this
also crazy how underwhelming his new things are

fuck off

good but far from perfect

yes

True. I don't know if he's gotten lazy or what. I was hyped when I saw he was a feature on Vince's album, like finally Rocky's going to pull through with a verse. Then his whole feature was just two words on the hook.

I did actually like RAF, but you're right about topping LiveLove.
