shit like this fucks me up but reading about stampedes and the like fucks me up too. i think i read that if you're in a crowd that is about to stampede there is a point of no return and it's very difficult to spot. i think it's dependent on how much room you have around you but also how in control of your body's movement you are- if the crowd is pushing you around it's probably too late.
