In ROCK and noise rock is way more aggressive than metal to me personally because it feels more heartfelt rather in metal it feels more expected

yeah it's rock. they've always been a bit poppier though and their newest stuff is full on noise pop.
i'd recommend checking out 'the first train' by them- def their best work
