>I've been kissing boys since 2004

Literally what the FUCK did he mean by this?

I wanna know, is he really outta the closet? Or are lefties reaching really hard.

One, that's not the lyric. The lyric is:

>I've been kissing white, boys, since 2004.

"Kissing" is druggie slang for "snorting," and "white" refers to cocaine. In this lyric he's telling his boys, his platonic friends, that he's been doing cocaine since 2004. It's a stunning turn for Tyler since he's always insisted he doesn't touch drugs.

I think people just want him to be gay really badly

That's a relief, but I still don't understand Garden Shed.

>All my friends lost
>They couldn't read the signs
>I didn't wanna talk and tell 'em my location
>And they ain't wanna walk
>Truth is, since a youth kid, thought it was a phase
>Thought it'd be like the Frank; poof, gone
>But, it's still goin' on

Who is this Frank? What is a poof? What is my location?

Frank Ocean

This is sort of what I hate about hip-hop rap verses. Most normal songs are just poetry in song form, but hip-hop is always obscure references and I have to pull up the wikipedia just to understand what he's trying to reference.

This is getting ridiculous you guys. He's not gay.

>Garden shed, garden shed, garden shed
>Garden shed for the garçons
>Them feelings I was guardin'
>Heavy on my mind
Yes, garçons means boys. But what is in a garden shed? Hoes. And what are hoes? Girls. So the second line is read as: "Girls for the boys." This is Tyler affirming his belief that a godly marriage is strictly between a man and a woman. These convictions weigh heavily on his mind because of today's dominant PC culture.

>All my friends lost
>They couldn't read the signs
>I didn't wanna talk and tell 'em my location
>And they ain't wanna walk
Here Tyler is apparently describing a time when his friends were on their way to his place, but they couldn't read the traffic signs to get there (several of OFWGKTA are known to be illiterate).

>Truth is, since a youth kid, thought it was a phase
>Thought it'd be like the Frank; poof, gone
>But, it's still goin' on
And again, Tyler is referencing his belief in traditional marriage. He thought it was a phase, but he still trusts in God's plan for a healthy family.

Stop this please, the people in denial will probably actually latch onto these explanations as fact

>Boy, I need a Kleenex
Obviously Tyler is about to sneeze. There are no other uses for Kleenex.

>How I got this far? Boy, I can't believe it
>That I got this car, so I took scenic
>Passenger a white boy, look like River Phoenix
Here, Tyler describes how he's made it. He's got a car and he's made a new best friend. He tells us that he looks like teen idol River Phoenix, but that's just for descriptive purposes.

>people in denial will probably actually latch onto these explanations as fact

Would love to see this, especially because it bothers your bum so much.

maybe it's like a homophone with double meanings? Maybe he was a crack addict and he's gay, like Frank
