If that's actually true, it's interesting. But I doubt he will ever take it to the length Scott Walker for example did - from a pop star almost as popular as the Beatles at one time to an avant-garde composer making his masterpieces in his fifties.

I'm sure lamar will never make anything as good as walker's best...most artists won't. I'm not entirely sure what point you're trying to make. walker makes genuinely great, intelligent music, lamar and co. make music to insult their audience
