Snowden is a blue pilled faggot, so no

its the opposite, more liberal propaganda defaming capitalism by dramatizing and embellishing the truth

It would have to be about Assange to be red-pilled

>what is jfk
this movie will suck. the guy literally copies the same file onto the same sd card 30 times in the trailer, and the movie supposedly involves technology.
i don't like this inception actor either.

if snowden were red pilled he would not have exposed the us' greatest weapon against terrorists

Yeah because just keeping your head down and continuing to let the government operate as Big Brother is super red pilled

It's Oliver Stone though

>Made in Hollywood

of course not

Snowden still believes in American electoral politics. So no.

DUDE HE'S AGAINST OBAMA

I'll wait for the indie documentary, thanks, I see this turning out to be /blackhat/ action movie style. 20 bucks says snowden shoots someone.

It looks boring as fuck, I'd actually want to watch it if snowden shoots someone

Snowden is a commie traitor who deserves to be assassinated

I fucking hate biography movies, literally the only reason it exists is for oscar bait.Especially about people who havent died yet

This.

how contrarian are you guys

I wonder if whenever things like this happen no-name aspiring filmmakers and documentary-makers balls start to tingle as they realize that they can make a name for themselves by capitalizing on this thing.

Like, I really wonder how much the people involved have a genuine care for expressing the issues (whether or not the issues are right or wrong) or if they're some assholes who want to make an artistic "interpretation" of reality or cash a cheque.

how do people hate obama and snowden in the same breath?

disinformation 101

the us are the biggest terorrists

Every time

Obama is anti-constitution
Snowden committed treason

>made in Hollywood
>redpilled

Hello intern, thanks for the thinly veiled viral marketing

>Sup Forums shitposting about traitors means that you want the government spying on you and just letting them cum on your face while moaning about how you don't need your basic rights

if you're willing to give up your privacy because you're afraid of terrorists all you're saying is that you rather be cuck'd by the government

>Obama is anti-constitutio
which means nothing since all politicians are that. it was written with the intent of being rewritten as times change, times have changed and it hasn't.

>everyone who doesn't share my opinion is Sup Forums

>This is what the regressive left actually believe
1776 will commence again

The biggest criticism of Obama to me is that he promised to do very big things that would fundamentally improve the way the United States worked. The greatest good he could have accomplished was to implement campaign finance reforms, reign in banking institutions, and undo the current American military status-quot because by doing that, he would lay the foundation to solve every other problem by ensuring that his successor will have the power to get shit done.

As strange as it sounds, his great accomplishment of universal healthcare is fucking small potatoes - the above three need to be addressed first and then healthcare will follow as will climate change action and all the other big issues.

The thing is that we've been here before - the "change" candidate. It was the same with JFK and Reagan and we got the same dogfucking. The thing that made Obama different was that he seemed to be actually different - he was an amateur politician who stabbed the Clintons in the back on his ascent and didn't know how shit worked and as such might have actually made the effort to move the mountains to accomplish the impossible as I listed above and the country would be the better all for it. McCain was right, Obama didn't know what the fuck he was talking about most of the time - but that's why I wanted him, because he seemed to be an idealist and would try to do what is necessary but instead he saw the reality when elected, and decided that relatively meaningless yet reachable accomplishments would serve better.

Snowden is the same. He chopped off one of his own legs for us and when it came time for him to chop off his other leg he ran to fucking Russia. And because of his half-assery nothing got done and we are worse off than if he never opened his fucking trap and remained ignorant. What Snowden did was a fuck-up equivalent of half-assing our efforts in Iraq - the place is worse than if we had never gone.

>Obama taught constitutional law
>he's not a strict constitutionalist, however, which has been the case of many presidents for the last 100 years

>Snowden is a traitor
>he literally revealed that the government is spying on its citizens with impunity, violating rights promised in the constitution
>you know, that thing that was so important to why you hate Obama

so the simple answer is stupid people can hate obama and snowden in the same breath

>muh opinions
>anonymous message board
everyone who isn't me is garbage

that's how shitposting works

>he thinks the 9th amendment is just decorative

Get a load of this anticonstitutional revisionist

>Admit Obama is anti-constitution
>Admit Snowden revealed government secrets
>Claim people who believe this are stupid
What the fuck are you smoking mate

>he ran to fucking Russia
Not really. He was in Russia waiting for a connecting flight when his passport was cancelled, therefore stranding him there.

it honestly looks like a bad boring movie.

That's fair he didn't actually "run" to Russia. But he's still there. He is with the country who arguably has the WORST interests in the United States.

Shit went bad, didn't go to plan. But yunno what, instead of spending a second fucking longer with the Russians he should have come home to face the music. Because now he straight up fits the narrative for a traitor - maybe that's what the United States wants. But all he had to do was come back home. Using the excuse that he would be untreated unfairly is completely fucking ridiculous because the United States and his circumstances would ensure he would be treated way more fairly than anywhere else in the world. But he hides behind the narrative that America is corrupt (it is) and there is no justice (there isn't) but fucking rule of law still rules here and .

I don't know if Snowden thinks he's smart, but I do know one thing, he feels safe now. He is more safe at home leveraging the substantial resources that would be made available to him as a citizen of the United States than some stupid trophy stuck in Moscow. And getting shit done.

I think it's hilarious that Assange and Snowden are dissuaded by the concept of jail time when they've done nothing but poke the hive. Did they not think that they would have to go to jail but it would be necessary to fight the fight?

God, fuck Snowden. He had balls to do what he did but he didn't ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING.

You understand he is a CIA agent and his job was/is to attack the NSA ?

did someone say cia ?

proofs?

As a Canadian, I agree that Obama is a dissapointment and I expect the same thing from our Trudeo. But Snowden had no need to stay in the US and be prosecuted. That would have gained nothing. Instead he chose to stay in another country, sure a political gesture to stay in fucking Russia of all places, but he is able to continue to talk about the issues, give interviews and look over the data.

The two are completely different entities, which is why lumping him with Obama is stupid

Wow smells like a licked boot in this thread.

i plan to go to russia because i enjoy their porn and think many of their women are cute id like to pay them for sex with ease. Snowden made the right choice imo.

>literally get elected to make weed legal
>doesnt do that

well played

>his circumstances would ensure he would be treated way more fairly than anywhere else in the world
have you been paying attention to the way your country sticks to it's 'laws'? Your prison system is only good in contrast to fucking Australia. And you have no good record on protecting wistleblowers

>20 bucks says snowden shoots someone.
He was in the army for a while so Its quite likely

muhammed pls

lot of people disrespecting russia, just so you know the age of consent there is 16 so its a pretty good country. dumb fat americans dont understand this though

/thread

What kind of mental gymnastics do you need to claim Snowden a traitor commie? There isn't a single fucking proven casualtybecause of his leaks.

Also, the leaks came at a good time: everybody claims they give a shit but nobody does. "We all knew gubberment to be watching". No you fucking didn't! You were the ones who yelled tinfoiltinfoiltinfoil when people were warning about goverment spying (the Internet).

Holy shit you people. Just admit you want the goverment looking at your dickpics and getting your children banned from goverment/security clearanced jobs because they posted something online when they were thirteen.

I'm actually pro spying if it was done in an intelligent way and not fucking everything up.

>age of consent there is 16
das it mane

We stick to our fucking laws like champions. And the lack of ambiguity of his actions will ensure fair treatment. And the deplorable state of the prison system has nothing to do with the way he gets there.

Ultimately he is going to be treated fairly in such a way that no lawyer can argue that he was poorly treated. But that's not really what I'm getting at, by being at the centerpiece at home facing those charges and fucking tying it up for possibly decades and making sure the issue stays in the goddamn news 24/7 all day every day means he will be getting exposure and therefore getting shit done in the face of the public. Even if he comes home, his entire innocent family is thrown in jail, and the judge walks up to him and punches him in the face it will be more than what he is doing right now. He was selfish enough to put his family and girlfriend in the spotlight without notice, he can fucking do it again.

Right now, he's doing fuck all. And unlike Assange he doesn't have any fucking lieutenants to do any goddamn work while he is rotting in Russia.

someone get this hothead outta here

>We stick to our fucking laws like champions
you mean slightly better than Aussies. The USA doesn't stick to it's laws any time it's inconvenient for them

Who will play Zizek?

GLOBALISM BAD
CAPITALISM GOOD

?????

Sometimes I can't tell if you guys are being sarcastic.

Fox news said it so it must be true

Well, not just Fox, the other medias too.

Sup Forums thinks it is above media manipulation and yet they bought the "everyone talk about the man and not the content of the leaks" hook line and sinker

>Ultimately he is going to be treated fairly
You mean thrown into Guantanamo and held there indefinitely like everyone else who was blown the whistle about govt misdeeds?

Obama is an Islamist globalist nigger
Snowden is a false flag

The only people who simultaneously hate Obama and like Snowden are naive anarchist queers

And then "suicide" because Snowden is so cowardly and cannot take the heat like real men like true americans fuck yeah.

This kills me.

He was a little bitch POG, he didn't shoot shit

Why not just watch Citizen four?

He set our intelligence community back 25 years thereby putting American lives in jeopardy. If you're narcissistic enough to believe that the government actually wants to read your personal emails and watch your neckbeard self jack off through your webcam then you'll believe whatever you want to regardless of facts

Name one example

I'd need a source on that 25 year number.

I know the goverment doesn't care about me and doesn't want to read my emails. They'll still archive that shit and let 3rd parties use the information.

Give me some fucking facts which will redpill me! I'm actually pretty openminded and would like to believe the goverment just wants to hunt some terrorists and steal chinese/european inventions.

have you read any of the information about this? It's not just e-mails, it's profiling everyone.

pay attention user

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial_(2016_film)

Of course we know in the end the standard Holocaust version of events will be portrayed as correct. But making a movie raising the logical issues with the standard Holocaust version of events is incredibly redpilled.

>time of the octopus

What the fuck?

> it's profiling everyone.
But they just want to give you better ads! No, wait. What was this about again?

If by revealing that the government was conducting mass surveillance sets them back 25 years, it was probably a shitty idea to begin with.

The techniques we use to catch these terrorists have been compromised by snowden and now they can easily bypass them whereas before that shit was classified. Even if spying on American citizens weren't illegal (which it is) we wouldn't want to anyway. Do you understand the shear number of texts, emails and phonecalls the average individual American makes/recieves a day? Yes we COULD monitor that shit but why would we? It's a waste of time. We also COULD nuke manhatten if we wanted to but that wouldn't make any sense, just like it doesn't make sense to spy on our own citizens. The kind of shit the NSA was doing was looking for specific combinations of key words originating from suspicious sources. From there we could pinpoint these sources and monitor any suspicious behaviour/communications. Snowden didn't have an ethical problem with this method, he got disgruntled because of the way he was being treated/overlooked in the community and so he threw a tempertantrum, took a metaphorical shit in the middle of the room and then dipped out and left the rest of us to clean up the mess.

I think Octopus was the name of some project on the leaked powerpoints.

...

So no source, and more sourceless claims then?

The fuck am I gonna source you with? Classified intel and common sense? Like I said you'll believe whatever you want to so if you think the government is keeping an archive of your browser history then you keep on thinking that

you do realize that all the monitoring also makes it makes it possible to create a surveillance state, terrorism is perfect to justify this

>The techniques we use to catch these terrorists have been compromised by snowden
fuck, you people haven't read any of the documents. One of the points of the leaks is that it never worked and never caught a single terrorist act.

Look a man needs to make a living, you know?

Why is privacy so important? Is your body really that hideous? Even if it is, nobody gives a shit

back in the 70s some dude claimed the nsa were wiretapping people

turns out it was true. people defame conspiracy theories all the time, which sometimes turn out to be true.

>Technology can actually increase privacy. The question is, why are our private details that are transmitted online or why our private details that are stored on our personal devices any different than the details of the private records of our lives that are stored in our private journals? I think, you know, that saying that you don't care about the right to privacy because you've got nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about freedom of speech because you got nothing to say. It's a deeply anti-social principle because rights are not just individual they're collective and what may not have value to you today may have value to an entire population, an entire people, the entire way of life tomorrow, and if you don't stand up for it, then who will?

>He thinks its a good thing to have two government agencies from the same country attacking each other on the taxpayers bill

This. It's just collecting data on ordinary people for no realized benefit.
