Led Zeppelin--In My Time of Dying (ok technically it was a traditional song, but Zep most likely heard Dylan's version first).
The Byrds original music was good, but I wish they would have covered entire Dylan albums.
He was pretty cute, desu.
This answer was much better than But just because some covers are well done doesnt take away from the originals.
No wonder Mick Jagger wanted to fuck him.

Dylan was a GOAT songwriter but only a very good musician.
Because you're a pleb who needs some poppy generic "good singer" to make a song more accessible to you.
Sounds like you just don't like the minimalism of folk music and need rock versions of it. You'll grow out of it eventually, just wait until you become an adult.
is this the most disappointing dylan cover?

im not much of a fan of the band's version either. still better than the byrds version though

The walk the line soundtrack version of it ain't me babe is objectively the best
Here's my favourite Dylan cover.

Did Dylan write songs? I thought he was a Sinatra cover artist.
This is unironically superior to the original

The Hendrix version is not better than the original. It doesn't mesh with his instrumental and vocal style at all, which buries and trivializes the lyrics.
I'll Keep It With Mine kind of isn't fair. Dylan never officially released it back in the day, if he'd continued having retakes of it he may have come through with a better version. That being said, yeah, the Nico version is better than the Dylan recordings.
Gonna plug in two cover albums of Dylan songs. not necessarily better than the originals but they're still pretty darn good. The first one's by Odetta, who Dylan says was just as much an influence on him playing folk music as Woody Guthrie was. I'm actually surprised no interviewer has ever asked him about it.
And this gospel cover album of Dylan's 60s work is aight.
>Odetta
>him
wut
I mean I'm surprised no interviewer has asked Dylan about this album, since you apparently can't read all that well.
Sorry, I read that wrong. I'll try to give both those albums a listen some time.
find me a cover of desolation row that's better than the original
hell no The Byrds sucks
Wait what?
My Chemical Romance of course.
>since you apparently can't read all that well.
It was a simple mistake. Don't be a dick.
give me one reason why and then I'll maybe care about your pleb opinions.
>Byrds > Beatles,Stones and Who btw
Doubt anyone can do a better version of Positively 4th Street
