By not firing Mourinho.
Look, the leave of Sir Alex Ferguson left a fucking void which none of the other managers have been able to fill due to the limited amount of time there was available. Moyes sure wasn't the right man for the job, LvG could've worked out though, but Mourinho surely is the better man for the job and they need to keep him for atleast 2-3 years to see if he can turn around things for the club. The whole idea of firing a manager after a poor run of results is what is ruining the stability in a club. Keep Mourinho and let him do his magic, you won't regret it.
>A stokie wrote this shit

>that flag
>this topic

By preventing customers such as yourself from going to their matches.

>current year

you don't

One world class transfer in the relevant position.

...

let mourinho do his job, sell hererra, rashford etc. most of this team, you dont win a title or a cl with these players, give him unlimited money etc.
its jose mourinho, probably the best team building manager in the world, trust the crazy fuck

By constantly reviewing who was responsible for the match result.

Why the fuck do you want to fix manchester united?

Time for Jose. Also a competent LB, CM and a faster striker would do wonders.

>Why instead of signing everything we need we spend all our budget in one player?

need to spend even more money on even more average players tbqh

...

Implying that Martial or Rashford aren't >faster strikers...

But ya, a CM, LB and a change in tactics would do wonders. Screw the slow possession and cross into the box game for 70 mins then turning on the gas in last 20 min. Go out and try to WIN from the start.

get a manager who doesn't refuse to play the best player in the team, martial.

stop buying black players. I'm serious and not in a racist way.

USA made it past the group stage for WC and England did not. Fuck off.

I'm not from England m8

Wales, Ireland and Scotland all failed too

Ok

United are best with British & Irish players, playing at a high tempo

Pacey black French guys are fine for Arsenal

lol the British core meme died out in the early 2010s.

>fine for 4th

fine for your mother

Step 1 invent time machine
Step 2 don't hire Mouyes, or sign Poobag

I don't understand why they fired Van Laal 2bh. He was actually building a breddy gud squad that a Pochettino type manager could have taken to the next level.

Also spending that much money on Poobag basically means you have to build your team around him, despite the fact he's lazy and painfully overrated.

British-centric utd team

>Pochettino

Replace Kane with Rashford, Bale with Martial, Rashford with Micky, Alli with Griezmann, Dier with Herrera, Walker with Tony V and Rose with Rojo and you basically have united next season.

:)

Why would spuds sign all this players?

>British-centric utd team
>3 British players

There's 7 in that team.

I think United has the money to buy the Juventus starting 11. So do that

Bale, Dier, and Kane. That's three.

dier is portuguese

Again, centre of defence would fail that team.

Midfield / Attack is great though.

sign dybala, weigl, a decent LB and maybe griezmann

should have signed conte

>dybala
Goes to barca soon
>weigl
Won't leave Dortmund in the next few years
>A decent LB
meme position, Liverpool have james fucking milner as lb
>maybe griezmann
most realistic of the bunch though i feel like he'll follow Simeone to inter

Why exactly should Dybala even consider going to Manure? He's about to sign a new contract that will make him the second highest earner after Higuain. If he leaves, it will only be for Barcelona or Real.

Bale isn't British he is Welsh.

Exactly the same that people say about Pogba and look where he is

Because Pogba played for a meme team and Barcelona and Real knew he wasn't anything special.

are you purposefully excluding the black players?

cause barca wouldn't pay his wages until suarez and/or messi leave

i'm not saying he will go to man utd just that he would obviously be an amazing signing

He isn't Welsh, he's English

They're Caribbean or African m8. :^)

That's different, it's quite obvious Pogba isn't exactly an ambitious, hard-working future GOAT considering the performances at Manure. Plus it's very likely he was encouraged by Juve to accept the offer. Dybala on the other hand is extremely important for the team

>shitskins
>British
Pick one

Then why is Dier British if his ancestry is Portuguese?

He's great, and equally adept as striker, attacking midfielder or right winger

>be 19 y'ol chav living in the slums of Hackney with your chav wife that you knocked up when she was 15 to get that fuckt up free apartment deal you tards have
>have among the poorest education levels in europe
>literally the mot violent country in europe
>one of the worst football nations in modern international competitions
>go the local pup to watch a bunch of foreigner play y'ol english premier league

oi mate lemme tull u about fooball

>sh*tskins

Please defer from racial slander when talking about the world's game, thank you.

>budget
Nigga, please. They are literally the richest club on earth and could spend 100 mio every transfer window like it's nothing. Besides, in case of Pogba the PR shit will make it up either way, while a great player like Kante only helps to return the money by performing.

Both are inexperienced kids though and you can expect them to perform like a top striker in his prime, say Costa. Though I guess Griezmann will sort that out and if they can offload Rooney to China, he will be basically free. If a Chelsea squad player not fit to warm the bench is worth 60 mio, an English legend (at least going by stats) should easy give 50+

>Screw the slow possession and cross into the box game for 70 mins then turning on the gas in last 20 min.
The weird thing is that this is a recent change. I think after the Liverpool game, which fucked both clubs it seems.

Van Laal didn't look like achieving much. Joses United rarely looks like losing and when they don't win, it's clearly their own fault. With Van Laal they were outplayed quite often.

>Liverpool have james fucking milner as lb
They play suicide ball. United plays with more control but basically everything either goes over Valencia or the left winger, which makes them pretty predictable. A good LB would add another fucking dimension.

Get rid of Mourinho. He is an idiot with a bad recent track record. I have no idea what he is doing with these signings or teamsheets. Why us Marcus fucking Rashford starting for Manchester United? Why is Wayne Rooney in his form?

3 £30m signings would have helped this team much more than Lorna who may in the future be worth his price tag, but never more.

Gaya, Weigl and Griezmann

Boom. Instant Champion's League winners

>could have had Conte or Pochettino, maybe Simeone
>went for the corpse of Mourinho instead

José Mourinho: 59.4%
Louis van Gaal: 51.9%
Ryan Giggs (caretaker): 50%
David Moyes: 52.9%
Alex Ferguson: 59.6%

For a comparison (bit old stats though):
Arsène Wenger: 57.3% (overall)
Jürgen Klopp: 47.3%
Brendan Rodgers 50.3%
Manuel Pellegrini: 60.9%
Roberto Mancini: 59.1%
Mauricio Pochettino: 51.4%

and guys who started this season:
Conte: 78.5 % (fewest games played)
Poop: 60%

First thing you gotta fire the manager and hire someone whose achieved success earlier in their career but has now been left behind.

Then sell off piecemeal anyone who has been performing well in the past, preferably to your competition. Then comes the most important part. You need to spend £200-250m on players. Doesn't matter who. Big names are preferable. Big names out of their prime is better.

This

Just look at Newcastle.

All of that hardly matters, it's completely dependant on current opposition. Ferguson's 59% were enough for several titles, >mouyes' won't suffice to qualify for CL. And while Pochettino for example is steadily improving and shows great talent at working with youngsters, >mouyes is in hard decline compared to his former self

What Manure needed is ambitious young blood to take charge, not a bitter burnout. It's all about working with the team both tactically and psychologically. One could argue that Manure are just a bunch of lazy mercenaries, but the same could have been applied (to an even larger degree) to last year's Chelsea and look what Conte gets out of them.

>manchester united premier league champions: 13
>everyone else combined: 11
I say let them stay shit for a couple more years.

Nice try friend. But everyone you said is wrong.

By adding Kante, is who doing the work of 4 average chelsea players week in and week out, the lazy but skilled players can continue to be lazy but are now more effective.

>implying that Conte had anytime to do with it.

>mfw i remember the 100+ mouyes thread between the romanian and slovakian

You might want to check the team distance covered in current PL season pal, and see where Manure and Chelsea rank. Then compare the workrate of Chelsea players in 15/16 and 16/17, Matic's for example.

Conte is about to get mugged in this picture.

lmao

...

>a fucking Hull

>dat defence

>losing to a part of a ship

>o oo ok. B bbbb buuuut how many t-shirts have chelsea sold vs united in that same time period....

stick to handegg Chad

ok lads united have scored 33 goals this season
zlatan is over half of them

palace (in the rele zone) have scored 32 goals
bourneme have scored 31 goals

mourinho drops martial for guys like lingard and rashford in attacking areas.

the 0-0 was a draw in the premier league faggot. for united to drop two points when everyone else at the top 6 did too should feel like a loss. kill yourself

vs

reality

ABU's are really reaching today.

Why doesn't anyone ever buy a Kante shirt?
youtube.com/watch?v=A9-qfvFKbfw
To be fair, technically it's still a loss and drawing against 19th (nineteenth) team with away record of 1W-1D-9L is as embarrassing as it gets

I just think that they need time , a lot of things changed in MU over the past 3-4 years

t. Jose Mourinho

Cover up as much as you like but United are doing shit. It's not even ABU to say that they're a step behind their competitors when they unironically are.

this would make sense if you were level on points
its like a loss because its a detriment towards reaching the minimum target of top 4. it leaves less games and the same points difference so technically its a negative rather than just a draw

>current year
>getting Marc'd by the Silva

>wanting to fix Poonited in the first place

I would LOVE to buy a ManU shirt with Kante on the back. :)

And yes, I agree, it was a negative result. Not a lose like my american neighbour thinks.

30 mil transfer fee doesn't seem like a lot these days, does it

>look what Conte gets out of them
He bought the player who won the league for fucking Lestah and a CB (like Mourinho wanted) and took the team that won the double a season ago to league title, without playing in CL.

Can we stop pretending that Conte managed anything special?

Leicester's success wasn't just down to Kante, like it might seem nowadays. Ranieri insists on the same hoofball that exposed PL previous year, but by now every other team figured them out. Kante carried them, but so did Vardy who is out of form currently.
And yeah, I'd say that taking a team that finished 10th (16th by the time >mouyes got sacked), fundamentally changing the tactical approach, adding several key players and motivating the stagnating stars to reach their peaks should considered quite special.

Agreed. Lets see how chelsea do with CL games next season.

Hell even >Liverpoo can come close when they don't have the extra European games to deal with!

Perhaps >mouyes should rotate the squad and not use his starting eleven against the likes of Zorya Luhansk then. Most expensive and highest paid squad in the world surely has enough team depth to deal with EL, no?

They had at least half a season to expose his hoofball before and it's not like it's a new tactic, it worked because key players were in form and Kante was probably the most important one (although obviously Vadry and Mahrez were very important too and even the defence did good)

In the end Kante is a top fucking player and played a big part, so it's given that a team buying him will get a big boost unless he loses his form.

>fundamentally changing the tactical approach
Oh come on, sure the formation changed but it's still the same counter football Chelsea played for years. Hence they could adjust so fast, unlike City or United who had massive changes this year.

>adding several key players
Only the guy who killed a chick was somewhat new. Sure, Conte gave Moses a chance (and he looks shaky in defence either way) and bought Luiz back (who was obviously a good player even back then, just the offer from PSG was too good). Kante was known quality when Conte bought him, so it doesn't take a fucking genius.

>motivating the stagnating stars
That's really the main thing he did. I'd say Big Sam managing to motivate shit-tier players being a tiny bit less shit and avoiding relegation is way more impressive than making proven players play like they normally do. You could accuse Mouyes of bad man-management for letting them suck (although we don't know how much power he really good, the first season at Chelsea he was forced to play players he didn't want) but it's nothing special from Conte. He's doing good, nothing more. If he can keep up the consistency next season with CL and win some cups, then he really deserves some praise.

Now this is a future GOAT if he gets Hull out of this mess.

That team would finish 6th at best

>stats

Fuck off, yank, you don't know anything about football

is someone over there?

>the same counter football
While the counter attacking elements are still prevalent, that's pretty much where any similiarities end. Switching from stale 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 to three at the back system is pretty much the most radical change you can make. Chelsea score more goals, have more possession, make more passes, dribbles, tackles, interceptions and cover more ground. All of the above applies not only to 15/16, but to the title winning 14/15 season as well. The only aspect where >moyes' 14/15 Chelsea were better is the amount of chances created per match, but the conversion rate is significantly better now (12.2 chances p.m. with 1.92 goals scored vs. 10.7 chances p.m. with 2.1 goals now). And naturally, Chelsea conceded less goals per match during 14/15, >mouyes' bus parking is notorious.
squawka.com/football-team-rankings#chances-created#team-stats#english-premier-league|season-2016/2017#0#90#any#any#season#1#all-matches#total#desc#avg
>He's doing good, nothing more
Reminder that the title race was supposed to be >mouyes vs. Pep, Chelsea getting top 4 would be considered overachievement after what happened to them before. Now that Conte pretty much has the league in the bag in early February and he's "doing good, nothing more", how would one describe >mouyes' tenure?

>manshitster poonited
lmoa

But stats are fun

>we
>don't

The Mouyes vs Pep thing was mostly created by the media, besides many expected a lot from Chelsea without CL football, though they did do better than expected by walking the league but even Brandon managed a nice run in the league, with a much, much worse team.

The only top 6 managed that really deserves to be called special these days is Poch.

Mouyes tenure so far is mediocre obviously, although it's a lot better than from Moyes or Van Laal and he can still win a cup treble which would be quite a step up from what the squad achieved so far.
Now if he misses on EL win, that would be embarrassing as fuck.

>cover more ground
Also how the fuck is that a good thing? More goals and lesser conceding is what counts, but again, they are having at least a top 3 squad and noticeably fewer games, so performing well is given unless something goes very wrong like last season.

How do the stats look compared to Mach 1 Chelsea?
