Mel Gibsons next big film is set in Ancient Ireland

I'm a location scout. Mel's next film is an biography detailing the life of Irish High King Brian Boru and his battle against the Vikings to free Ireland of their influence.

We are currently under Mel's direction Scouting for locations in Western Ireland for shooting. Currently in Clare at the moment. The project was actually meant to film over nine years ago. Leonardo DiCaprio was signed on to play Brian Boru. Script issues prevented this. The movie will be the Braveheart of this generation.

>High King Brian

Does he get help from Lord Steve and Sir Chuck?

What a stupid name.

That king with a stupid name and his army killed thousands of Vikings in battle. Brian Bóruma mac Cennétig is his actual name.

You use "an" before a word beginning with a vowel
Not trying to make fun of you, just an FYI

>Implying Brian isn't a based name.

Is he doing this before his Jesus sequel?

Finn Balor confirmed for a role?

Location scouting is hard work friend, literally walking and climbing hills 15 hours straight to mark perfect locations for possible shooting. Forgive my spelling.

you got a problem with Brians, pussyboi?

...

Not sure. That was not disclosed to us. For now he just wants us to find good ''ancient looking'' locations for large scale battle scenes. I know nothing about whether this is first to film or if his Passion of the Christ sequel is first.

Is it real? In the last (sort of) Mel thread I was asking for more movies like these. Historical setting, gritty, brutal. Maybe epic as well but they don't have to be 3 hours long. Because it seemed like the age of movies like this was over.

Is the viking epic we have all been begging for?

It's very real friend. He was meant to film this movie years ago as I said. I assume the Hollywood blacklisting prevented it along with the initial scripting issues. Film has a huge budget, it's gonna be good. It's a piece of Ireland's history that needs to be told and I can see many more people gaining an interest in both Irish and Norse culture when the film is out.

>Leonardo DiCaprio was signed on to play Brian Boru. Script issues prevented this.

Bullet dodged. Most overblown shitter in the game.

Yes. We were told about the general outlines of the battle scenes Mel wanted so we could search for suitable locations for filming. Huge scale battles between the Irish and Vikings. And the Irish versus Irish in the movie.

Fuck you op

If this is actually real, I couldn't imagine Leo's fucking awfully laughable "so serious" acting trying to once again pull off an atrocious Irish accent like in Gangs of New York

I'd have no problem with based Mel "six million more" Gibson as Brian Boru. He's probably done with acting now though.

The film is not in English. It will be filmed in ''Norse'' and Irish. The only worry will be getting actors to use the right Irish and Norse pronunciations.

Exactly, and Leo would be fucking awful for that.

Is he reworking elements of Berserker in here or is this a totally different thing?

Saoirse can finally play an Irish princess

>Make a religious porn movie that only rednecks and white trash like
>Get drunk and when a cop pulls you over you express your love for sand niggers
>Beg your Jewish overlords for forgiveness and apologize multiple times, but they show no mercy and kill your career
>Become an even bigger alcoholic in your depression
>Your wife cucks you for a nigger
>You get caught on tape crying about how upset you are that your wife is cucking you for a nigger
>Now trying to appease his masters by making an anti-war movie glamorizing a soldier who refused to kill the enemy, starring a Jewish actor

Is there a bigger cuck in Hollywood as Mel Gibson?

Steve comes from Stephen and there were a lot of Stephen Kings

Do you think you could get me in as a runner?

>mel fucks on her onscreen

amazing song, such a beautiful thing to post. thanks user.

I'm Irish and a fan of Mel Gibson and this is great news.
