Western society is in a shit place and it will fall before it gets better. This sounds like a meme but wealth inequality is at a STUPID level. It's not sustainable. The top is narrowing and the bottom is widening.
Hold onto your butts, lads, because we're gonna get some Venezuelan boogaloo
It ain't socialism that's the problem It's people taking more than their fair share and knowing they're doing it.
The Venezuelan problem comes from trusting a bunch of third world Catholics who have never known real society with the guardianship of state wealth.
Caleb Richardson
Extreme wealth inequality is normal in socialist countries because socialism produces centralized, hierarchical governmental structures without checks and balances, and because human nature is fundamentally self-serving, those with power have all the wealth and everyone else suffers in impoverished misery. Yes, I know on paper socialism aims to be an egalitarian Utopia, but ask yourself why it has never, ever turned out this way. Answer: it assumes human nature is fundamentally cooperative, and this is empirically proven false.
In free-market societies, there is inequality, but it is a just inequality, meaning it is a result of reward or lack of reward commensurate to the work/risk/preparation one invests.
Are there hard luck stories in free market systems? Of course. But there are even more hard luck stories and socialist systems.
Ryder Williams
Oh, you mean you have yet another excuse for why socialism fails EVERY TIME?
Logan Baker
What is Scandinavia (before they got cucked by immigration)?
Juan Martinez
>just inequality, meaning it is a result of reward or lack of reward commensurate to the work/risk/preparation one invests. Do you really believe that? Wealth begets wealth And there is only so much to go around.
Run that scenario out for 100 years. Where does wealth go? It falls upwards. Only the extreme exceptions come from the bottom It's vastly more common for people to stay exactly where their parents were. Or less.
Kayden Williams
Scandinavia is more capitalist than America, scoring higher on the economic freedom index. Their current wealth is a result of laissez-faire policies in the past. Much of that wealth was lost when they expanded their welfare policies . Now, Sweden and Norway are swinging very much back in the direction of capitalism.
Jackson Sanders
They have always had socialized public works though Healthcare Energy Justice
Not like America
Carter Davis
Fundamental liberal false assumption: wealth is zero sum. This is absolutely false. You need to learn some very basic economics. There is no cap on wealth.
It is a basic human right that parents should be free to provide for their children. There is nothing wrong with this. Nevertheless, it is historically the case that wealth is lost after three generations. There is incredible economic mobility in free market systems, as in America.
Relative wealth is a zero sum game Yes, overall, societal wealth does increase. The average poor person is living better than they did 100 years ago
But the issue is that while there have been gains in societal wealth, the distribution isn't even. What the poor have gained is just a fraction of what the elite have gained.
The scale is always going upwards, but not evenly.

>make this thread >come back >it's arguing pointlessly about economic strategies
Fuck off all you niggers It's about how people feel. People FEEL fucked. Whether they actually are or not doesn't matter.
Eventually it's just going to come to a point where enough is enough. The bottom is reproducing so much more than the top. What will happen when the "1%" is the "0.1%"?
Gonna happen in our generation, boys
Benjamin Foster
I like how you said that. No cuck fag business. Just >>you're ignorant. Beautiful.
Nolan Diaz
You think it will all come to a head in our lives?
Colton Watson
I have faith in pushback to rectify the situation. Western Society survived two world wars, the Cold War, and the Great Depression. Usually because enough people took their heads out of their asses and started fixing things.
Plus Australia will live on due to sheer tactical insignificance.
Owen Roberts
Oh yeah
Look at the last 10 years
>Obama advertises himself on the "Hope" and "Change" platform >People expect him to do shit >He gets elected >Occupy Wall Street happens under his watch >fuck all happens in response >he gets reelected >bombs the Middle East more >still fuck all "Change" happens >2016 elections >Trump says HE is going to change things >Drain the swamp >Bring back jobs >Most of the way through his first year >Absolutely nothing yet >His appointments are just corporate cronies
Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you. Obama pulled the wool over our eyes. He was all about change. Things will happen, right? Nope. So Trump campaigns again with the idea that things will happen. Seemingly nope.
You fuck people once, they forget. You fuck them twice, and they're gonna get angry.
There's only so much people can take. Even if Trump comes and goes without doing anything, the next guy will have to do everything. If not, then there's no way America can stand 4 terms of bullshitting
Dominic Sanchez
We talking revolution or dumb nigger tactics and library whining?
Ian Torres
Depends on how fast change happens It'll start out with a more persistent "Occupy Wall Street" with some pavement ape tactics.
Then when nothing really happens. Some shit will be burning. This century won't be finished without a restructuring of how money is given
Jacob Lopez
demonstrably false. US is one of te least mobile countries in te first world
Adam Cook
I don't think that's true when currency has value by fiat only.
Nicholas Bell
> it assumes human nature is fundamentally cooperative, and this is empirically proven false.
fuckin' someone gets it *wipes tear*
Brayden Diaz
It's not
By virtue of our very existence, humanity IS inherently cooperative
We live in cities, yeah? And how do cities happen? By distribution of tasks Without cooperation every person would responsible for finding their own food.
That's objectively not true. Cities only happened because humans worked together and distributed vital responsibilities Some people worked on non-essential goods and some people made food that everyone needed
You can't have fucking computers if inherent cooperation did not exist. You edgy fucking faggots
Levi King
the kikes are basically living like god kings now, they own the money system, their cash flow is infinite as long as they have goy slaves paying away their lifeblood into the system.
ever notice that once the kikes all had private jets and didn't need to use airlines anymore that suddenly terrorist memes were made up and airport security now basically humiliate the goy CATTLE if you choose to use air travel?
ever notice how the kikes are basically on permanent holiday apart from a once a week meeting with the board, whilst you are working yourself to death?
Carter Wood
>Scandinavia is more capitalist than America HOLY SHIT. Someone who has actually taken an econ course before.
Can anyone guess the most unionized country in the world?......USA
Scandinavia is free market capitalism, with social welfare safety nets built in.
Gabriel Ward
Yeah, and getting plenty of cultural enrichment right now from muslim nignogs
Christopher Carter
Unionization is only a part of socialization
The basis of socialism is having the basic needs belong to the government Water, electricity, food, justice
