Hard question, as every single one of his albums is so different....
Lady Stardust? Life on Mars?? Let's Dance? Word on a Wing? Heroes? Slow Burn? Space Oddity? Time? Rock and Roll Suicide? Ziggy Stardust?
Seriously user, I can't decide. Certainly one that gives me the feels is Lazarus.

>favorite
>Bowie
Pick one
Maybe you would like The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders of Mars (don't forget to play it at maximum volume).
Also Aladdin Sane, which he intended that one to be a follow up for Ziggy Stardust.
One of my personal favourites: Diamond Dogs.
The whole Earthling album is such a piece of work. My favourite from that album is Seven Years in Tibet.
I bought the 45th anniversary record in gold vinyl. That song is to blame for spending my money on that. Pic related.
Fuck, Bowie was legendary, how can I have a favorite?
Crystal Japan. He wrote it for a Japanese alcohol commercial.

>I thought "cavemen" was "gay men" in the chorus for a LONG time
Well.... in Five Years he does say: "a cop knelt and kissed the feet of a priest, and the queer threw up at the sight of that".
Golden years or heroes I can't pick one.
Ice Ice Baby
Space Oddity. It's an allegory for loneliness and helplessness in spite of everyone viewing you as a hero. When I listen to it, I feel sad and unaccomplished. My dream is be astronaut, but I cannot because of my ADHD.
Never Gonna Give You Up
even if you aren't a Bowie fan you can have a favorite Bowie song
Nikita
Ever listened to The Downward Spiral by NIN? ;)
If you want more good Bowie songs, go on google and look for them. I don't really listen to albums that much because there's usually a few rubbish songs in there somewhere so I wouldn't know about albums sorry

does the gold make the sound worse? I remember reading somewhere that picture discs had inferior sound quality because of the way they were made.
In an attempt to not be boring and predictable: Sunday.

The Man Who Sold The World
Metal Gear much?
Bowie is the Cosby of the pop industry. He fucked so many passed out men and women and he's probably lucky cancer got him before cops did
Low
Mine Oddity
Picture discs do have a lower quality because a literal piece of paper with a picture is pressed on the vinyl and then a very thin layer of transparent vinyl is pressed on the paper, and finally the grooves are pressed on the very thin layer of vinyl, so the sound quality is rather screwed.
But in this case that record I have is coloured vinyl, not picture disc. That is, the vinyl itself is mixed with pigments to give it its colour. This doesn't effect in any way the sound quality. In fact, the mastering they used for this edition is from 2015, I have the same mastering in black vinyl and sounds just as great.
MY NIGGA
>Although I thought "cavemen" was "gay men" in the chorus for a LONG time.
It is probably both.
Bowie makes it blatently clear in 'After All' that he uses wordplay in his music.

Literally every character in MGS is based on bowie in some way
bump
What the fuck does it have to do with his music, user?
HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS IS A THING?!
Anyway, I'm going to nominate Queen Bitch.
Interesting, but Snake is based off of... Snake Plissken from Escape from New York (1981)
This is even played with in MGS2. Snake tells Raiden his name is "Plissken".
