What is some cool anime that doesn't make you a weeb if you watch it?

What is some cool anime that doesn't make you a weeb if you watch it?

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Go for eng dub to not feel like a weeb

Helsing ultimate

Idk man, there are a lot of.Kek I just waiting with u cuz i also have no idea....

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Eng or Jap Dub is up to you

Watch:
Your name(kimi no na wa)
Ghost in the shell
Akira
For series then:
Cowboy bebop
March comes in like a lion

These are all just off the top of my head.
These anime arn't weeb shit and any western normie can enjoy them

Fist of the North Star
Berserk

Elfen Lied
No weeb bullshit, bloody and horroristic

Try Cory in the House, really good anime

Seinfeld

Hello Kitty Island Adventure

どうもありがとうございました

Inferno Cop

Just watch it dude, seen a lot of shit but also some decent ones.. Same with regular series, a lot of shit, a few good ones..
Why do you even care about shit like that? Of you wanna watch some, watch some.. If you don't the don't, simple right?

Corey in the house

The Simpsons.

jojo

its basically anime about internet

>I want to watch anime but not be embarrassed
There's plenty of moeshit out there to be embarrassed about, but plenty of cool stuff too.

>OPM
... is generally inflated in popularity a la Minecraft syndrome and is an incomplete anime, better read the manga on this one after you're done watching, faggot
>JoJo
Tons are animated, and colored manga should not be hard to find at all. Has lots of (((jap elements))) like time suddenly losing progression.
>Fist of the North Star
YOU WA SHOCK
>Berserk
Absolutely terrible. Read the manga instead.

This too

That is a horrid description, the internet more or less bends around it, not the other way around

I try to avoid anime but steins gate seemed more like just a really good tv show than some weeb shit

Anything really.
Only thing that makes you a weeb is using jap words and phrases in normal conversation or adopting parts of their culture.

I'd say go for a dubbed action anime that's aimed at young teens if you don't want to be embarrassed, you can explain it away as cartoons if anyone questions you.

Fucking w33b

>What is some cool anime that doesn't make you a weeb if you watch it?
>I want to watch some anime, but I don't want to be embarrassed while I do it.

That's like asking how to suck dick without being gay.

It's not weird to say you like anime these days. I just prefer the cyberpunk stuff and I don't know any good ones cuz I don't speak Japanese. I imagine the coolest animes are also the ones that never made it to the west, because the mainstream is often (and justifiably) watered down.

If you're going to watch Jojo make sure to torrent the fan translations from somestuffs

>That's like asking how to suck dick without being gay.

Take my wife. Please!

Shounen is good to watch my dude
Except for Dragon Ball.
It's always sucked. Toriyama writes incredibly fucking boring plot.
An actual weeb will watch shit like lucky star unabashedly.

If you've got an android download mangarock for manga

Well what is your type of anime, you will always have a good time with dragon ball, I love it. Natsume's book of friends, mushishi, fairy tail, beelzebub, hellsing, psychopass, noragami,

The list can go on but those are the ones I like

Cyberpunk & hard science fiction

Having a hard time finding something as good as Akira

One Punch Man
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Death Note
Attack on Titan (tho the anime has a little too much fluff)
Ajin
Gurren Lagann
Berserk (manga is better than the anime tho)
Ghost in the Shell

Stop caring about what other people think and watch whatever you want.

Cowboy Bebop is a good starter one

For cyberpunk, go with Ghost in the Shell to start. I generally stick to mecha/fantasy so I don't really know much in the cyberpunk genre.

It's not what other people think at all. I don't live like that. I get embarrassed by the poor voice acting, bad dialogue, uninspired artwork, one-dimensional characters, jarring editing, and incompetent directing. Generally speaking, anime is artless, but there are gems.

>Akira
Now we're getting somewhere.
Dystopian cyberpunk, don't mind a bit of gore.

I enjoyed Texhnolyze and Psycho-Pass.

have you tried monday night football?
faggot.

Aku no Hana (this one fucked me up badly. it is still my personal preference tho)
Cowboy Bebop
Kimi no na wa
Death Note
Akira
Monster by Naoki Urasawa

you may not like 1-2 in this list but i can assure you that these are okay to watch, you should watch them-

if you wanna read manga, i can definitely recommend vagabond and homunculus

bungou stray dogs

No what's that?

Initial D. Next you will buy a rx7 and be blasting erobeat while you bitch slap a street pole with the small piece of fiberglass that use to be your fender.

watch kaiji, don't judge the style because of the nose, you will thank me later

Why does everybody hate on Death Note? You can never bring it up. If you didn't find it riveting (before L died), then you have questionable taste.

i didn't hate on death note? it's one of the best out there.

OP here Initial D is my muthafuckin' shit dawg.

Not u just anime snobs in general. You can't even mention you it. Everybody's eyes start rolling.

I trust you.

I like dbZ for the character development and fighting mostly. Toriyama's decent-to-subpar story writing skills are outweighed by his realistic characters and interesting approach at writing worthwhile aesops into his stories. That and he's got a pretty good sense of humor.

DBZ is ok. DB is pretty fucking funny and DBS is up there on the list of great animes.

The original Berserk anime was real good too. Ends on a cliffhanger, but still works as a dark ending.

Other good anime:
Can't go wrong with Cowboy Bebop

Samurai Champloo(pretty much Bebop set in feudal Japan)

Mushi-shi is one of the most chill animes I've ever seen. Definitely something to watch on mushrooms

Paranoia Agent is thricely a detective tale, a psychological thriller and a study in how anxiety and unhandled problems from your past can resurface later on in life.

Gurren Lagaan is good stuff with a lot of interesting moral dilemmas, but is pretty cringe worthy at a few points.

Hunter x Hunter is my absolute favorite anime.
It's set up to look like your average coming of age story, but ends up becoming a fucking roller coaster of moral ambiguity and arch-type examination. Imagine DBZ but with more interesting powers, more people with powers and a story that is 500% better planned and executed. The way Goku was meant to be portrayed(good willed/a bit dull/creative and intuitive/trusts people based on who they are in a moment, rather than their history/kind of the villain by accident) is pulled off in just the right way by the main character. He ends up being a pretty dark character that makes some pretty fucked decisions later on, but is still the hero.

These are just a few top tier/anti-weeb animes. There are tons of cool animes out there, if you just start looking

I like that they switched out the jazz/blues motif in Bebop with a hip-hop oriented one in Champloo. It's fucking rad how they fit it into a japeanese period piece imo

Paprika is good. It's only a movie, but it's definitely worth the hour and half it takes to watch

Jojo's , Cowboy bebop , FMA and DBZ

then i suggest psychopass for you, another one will be elfen lied

why not watch porn instead fam?

I only watch hentai ironically
