Really dig both projects, especially the second. You're ability to create great ambience really lends itself well to a singer-songwriter context
Beautifully put together
Very nice vocals, reminds me of Shearwater a little bit
Love this, super disorienting, very easy to get lost in
I really like the chopped up reversed guitars and what not, super nice texturing.
Excellent, love how everything's mixed, got that wall of sound thing down to a T
Beautiful Vocals and the mixing is incredible! Keep up the good work, gonna keep following your stuff for sure.

This is my band's first released demo.
Self-imposed deadline. If I fuck up this release the whole schedule for the next 8 months is fucked up too. I've actually been working on it today but need to lurk Sup Forums to decompress for a bit.
My friend just finished his first album after taking 5 years on it, let it rip:

> city pop, little bit of a 70s/80s throwback
spent a while on this, it's my first time mastering something, but overall I'm pretty happy with how the album turned out.
I tried to combine the beach boys, with the kind of soft rock you hear in shopping malls, with a little bit of the eccentric 70s japanese city pop scene.
holy moly! I love it. Mixing on the backing track is great, there's so much space.
You absolutely nailed the texture. That said, the songwriting leaves a little to be desiered. I could listen to this album and have a great time, but I don't know if I could get obsessed with it over and over, you know?
I'm not saying every song needs to be complicated, but right now these songs are pretty much all two chord vamps and there's only so much you can do.
Yeah this is cool. I'm not the biggest death cab fan, but the production here is great, and the songwriting is nice and varied and I like how it jumps around a lot. The post rock influences are cool.
That said, I feel like some of the songs overstay their welcome and can sometimes feel directionless. Rosewater is a good closer, but the way the chord structure is built, there's plenty of tension built up and then you release it. This is what you wanna strive for. It gives stuff a little more direction and momentum.
I'm into this, it sounds kinda lizst-esque, combined with some early 20th century stuff. I'd really like to see what you can do if you concentrated on writing something. Sometimes you go in directions that I maybe don't agree with, sometimes you go in directions that blow my mind. So that's cool. I dunno where you stand musically but sometimes the choices you make in the melody line don't make sense and it just feels random. Of course, all of this could be attributed to improv, so yeah - you should write something
if you like low budget recording, amateur ukulele playing, comfiness and english with mexican accent you gonna love this album :)

Thanks for the compliments and criticism. Yeah I think that's definitely my next step. I think I'm going to make a Dungeon Synth album next, potentially Dungeon Synth hip hop beats. I'm just starting to figure out how to actually produce, so there's that. Or I could actually just write stuff haha. We'll see. Thanks though!
I can't listen to the whole thing because I have a fuck ton of work to do, but I listened to a few tracks and I love it! Your production is fucking perfect for what you're writing. Can't really give much feedback because I don't listen to this kind of music much, but I copped it.
