Soup Sup Forums just had my appendix taken out, thought I'd share my story, if anyone is interested. I'm currently shit posting and feeling pretty good on pills, AMA friends!

Pic related is one of my belly wounds

What do you usually order from McDonald's?

Serious question

Well, I've been losing weight lately. 93 pounds since January with keto and water fasting, so I haven't had McDicks in a while, but I typically like to get 2 McChickens and 2 McDoubles, sometimes 3 of each if I was only gonna eat once that day.

Thank you

So did you explode or was this an early diagnosis?

No problem buddy, thanks for your question. What do you usually order from McDonald's?

I get a triple cheeseburger, mcdonalds here is expensive, a big mac is $10, 20 nuggets is $10..

It had not yet ruptured luckily, I had some abdominal pain for a couple of days and thought I was constipated so took a bunch of laxitives, but it didn't help so I went to a clinic on my lunch break and they sent me to the ER and they cut me open. Funny enough I eventually diagnosed myself.

OP, rate your nurses. If any rate higher than 5, you have to ask them to pose for Sup Forums.

Checked. Dubs make it official.

Nice, I don't think they have triples at ones here, sounds pretty good. That is super pricey for a mac, where do you live? Australia?

I had my apendix removed about 4 years ago, shut hurt like a bit cheaper, then had my gallbladder removed over a year ago with 30+ gallstones. That hurt about 100× worse and actually scored me a pretty good prescription of oxycodone so that I could sleep. I have the pictures of both surgeries in a box somewhere and would post but I'm at work atm

Well looks wise, they weren't that great, but they were super nice and made me feel safe. One even held my hand and that made me feel nice. Kinda bitter sweet though, the girl I love that broke my heart is a nurse so it made me feel kinda sad. I was cracking them up though, they said I was their best patient that day.

Nurses are always Hella dope, it's when you get to the 'specialists' that shot starts to go down hill

Wow, that sounds rough, sorry to hear about that. I'm glad you're better now. It was pretty painful for me too. I feel so much better. I ate some Korean food right after and then drove home. I took 3 percocets but I'm not tired now. I kinda wanna take another but don't want to OD or anything.

Was the gallbladder done laparoscopically, or did they open you up?

I ask because I had mine done laparoscopically, but it still hurt like fuck after, and they only gave me some shitty hydrocodone. I was in a lot of pain for days.

Yeah, I agree, Haven't had much experience with specialized ones though.

Oh it was fine for the appendix, it was when the gallbladder struck that I was not a happy boi. I went through my visit for the appendix with no pain killers no problem but the gallbladder had been a problem for years and andctually brought tears to my eys. I was on painkillers through an iv for like 3 days and my arm went numb so I had them take out the iv for a bit. They called up one of their iv 'specialists' who proceeded to dig a needle around in my hand and arm for like 10 minutes, which on top of the abdominal pain and eh at not was not a good time. But yeah don't take anymore percocet, don't wanna risk any shit

Had my gut cut open so I had sutures

I guess that's why you got the oxys.

Yeah that's my guess for it too. They did it a bit weird though and cut an extra hole in me so with both surgeries I have eight scars on my stomach

Man, that sounds like a rough deal, I agree about the appendix, the pressure before hand was very uncomfortable, but now I feel so much better. Good call on the pills, they've gotten rid of the pain so that's good enough,

Whats up fellow user, I had my appendix taken out when I was 7, its a bitch trying to walk post op. I hope you're okay man.

It makes for one hell of a story though since I spent most of that week on morphine and dilauded, or however the duck that painkiller is spelled

Thanks buddy, I actually felt so much better after the surgery. I got up to pee so the nurse wouldn't have to make me go in the bed, I then went to have sine dinner and drove home. I was a lot worse off before hand. I'm glad to hear your surgery went well, I'd imagine it was tougher to go through as a child.

close, New Zealand
how much are macs there?

Do you like Shrek

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's pretty funny in my case too. One minute I was at work, an hour later I was under the knife lol

Oh nice, I know some people who recently visited there and they absolutely loved it. They said the people were so kind and it was also nice because there was some sort of rugby match with England who they also said were nice. I'd love to visit. Macs here are about $3.50 or so I believe.

I do, I remember really liking the first one. Also had my first double date seeing the third one and playing the second version's game cube game with my brothers. Good times with Shrek.

Lol I was about the same for my appendix, gallbladder was a longer proccess
