Is she the most unbearable simpsons character?
Is she the most unbearable simpsons character?
you misogynist fucking PIG argh
...
>becomes vegetarian
>ruins Homer's barbeque because she can't stand people having meat
>le politics derail
It makes sense for the Simpsons to be black. They're not written as white characters at all. Anybody whining about that particular episode is a dumb Sup Forums pissbaby.
>muh alt-right, muh pol
She became the voice of the new writers, of course she's unbearable.
Simpson's need more MIT graduates writing stuff for them.
>Homer joines the Navy Resrve after being fired because its the only way he can now provide for his family
>before he leaves for basic training, the last thing Lisa says to him is some preachy rant about how evil the military is
I still prefer her to Marge.
Simpsons unironically predicted progressives behavior in [current year.]
I'm sure Lisa in modern Simpsons isnt portrayed this way though.
which seasons should be considered for this discussion?
To be fair, she is about 10 years old. That's exactly the type of thinking you expect from a child.
On the Prohibition episode Marge goes along with Homer being the beer baron whereas Lisa tries to reprimand him about it.
KANG! THE DELEGATES!
>Not Marge
Homeeeer. Homeeeer. Ded u not doo thing?! HOMEEER. HOW COULD U NOT DO THING!? YOU ARE BAD PARANT!
Every attempt at comedy with her past season 5 fell flat. She's just baggage, only around so Homer is less pathetic.
The ones that matter.
You forgot one there though.
I filled the balls with a funnel.
Bart > Homer > Grandpa = Maggie >>>> Marge >>>>>> Lisa
What about Roy?
>Bart above Homer
If you do Grandpa, then you have to do Patty and Selma, and Marge's mom.
>Bart > Homer
que ?
Explain the logic in this storyline:
>Bart becomes a better jazz player than Lisa
>Out of jealousy Lisa starts collecting dangerous animals in the attic
>We're supposed to feel for Lisa
Because she's special and Bart isn't.
I think I hate her more than Janice from The Sopranos.
>that football episode that BTFOs Lisas holier than thou attitude and virtue signaling
the writers knew pretty early on she was annoying, what happened?
Marge episodes are some of the best ones though.
I still get pissed every time she doesn't take that 2 million from Mr. Burns.
it could be why it happened too. don't doubt the influence of the simpsons.
underrated
>implying that isn't a god-tier episode
It is. But that doesn't mean she wasn't acting like a cunt.
>that filename
>"user, the simpsons are good again"
>get tricked into watching that boyhood episode
>it's another "Lisa is special episode"
This and that fucking halloween episode are as shitty as any zombie simpsons, what makes them worse is that you can feel they were trying.
>that one british Flanders
Yeah, Lisa is my least-favorite character.
Mr. Burns episodes are the best
>It's just a little airborne
Patrician detected.
this may be my favorite scene of the whole show. but i must conquer your trips, homer > bart
>season 18
fuck off
She used to be good before she turned into an annoying perma vegan pro rights SJW anti-republican voice of nu writers
...
This.
The Simpsons was shockingly prophetic.
See: Homer Bad Man.
The reverands wife or sideshow mel are the most agrivating characters
Kek I quote that all the time
>The Simpsons was shockingly prophetic.
Most animated comedies were, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, The Critic and pre cancel Family Guy all satirized PC, little did we know that the satire would become reality.
which would be the one and only time Lisa acted like an actual Child and not the writers mouth piece.
No wonder Sup Forums is so shit, you fucks are here.
AH! AND SO AM I!
Family Guy, American Dad and Bordertown all attack PC. Even Cleveland Show did.
American Dad does it because "le angry republican", Family Guy does it because "le random so who cares", Cleveland Show did it because "le nobody is watching" and Bordertown did it because "le white man living on Mexican border with le random sprinkles!"
>No wonder Sup Forums is so shit, you fucks are here.
Football season starts today, Sup Forums it's about to become better.
Good. Let the proper football and handegg thread wars begin. Remember, we ALWAYS win. Go proper football!
wtf i love ted cruz now
She acted like a child all the time in the golden era. Babysitting Bart, have a crush on Nelson, trying to make friends on summer break, feeling guilty about cheating on a test.......
>filename
Depressingly accurate.
I was talking about predicting the current PC mindset. I don't have nothing against the shows you mentioned, but PC is all over the place now so it isn't really the same.
KotH did it best imo.
>divegrass
can't wait to see team A and team B draw 0-0 and team C qualify.
>protestors harrass Homer at his work
>working man gets harrassed by layabout feminist students
They didn't predict anything: it was happening while the show was still being made.
Animaniacs and Tiny Toons had huge furry followings on usenet. Apparently, it was part of the reason they were canned.
>tfw Simpsons is the original meme magic
MIND = BLOWN
no this was a response to them harassing the voice actor of minvera mink
I know you think the internet is a recent thing from 2000, but its not
>the life you get could be your own
Well, that's not very encouraging.
Sup Forums became Sup Forums+Sup Forums a long time ago. Even smart initiatives like the Woolwich containment thread haven't been enough to save it.
charmed
Qualify for what?
Not every weekend is a tournament user
It was a joke, user.
Are you people fucking idiots? Simpsons is incredibly liberal and has always been.
>Sup Forums became Sup Forums+Sup Forums a long time ago.
Sup Forums is probably the least Sup Forums infested board out of the heavy traffic ones, I do agree they share some of the Sup Forums banter tho
>feeling guilty about cheating on a test
found the liberal arts major
>download a new season out of curiosity
>nearly every episode that season was a Lisa episode
What the fuck happened?
>Simpsons is incredibly liberal and has always been
No, maybe now, but they used to take shots at every political point of view. Hell, they still have that ongoing joke about democrats being unable to lead a country.
you people seem to think misguided feminism is a new thing. it isn't.
I don't really know, do audiences really like Lisa? Even if the episode isn't about her, they still find away to include her.
You've piqued my curiosity.
I mean... WTF!?
en.wikifur.com
>He was a guest of honor at ConFurence 11 (2000). He married Minerva Mink at a joke wedding during ConFurence 12.
>As stated in October 3 articles, the police found Mitchell Beiro "to have “thousands” of computer files depicting child sex exploitation".
goddamn furries freaks!
Wasnt the point of that episode that vegans who try to force their way of thinking unto others are assholes?
Nice
There are people who exist that claim current Simpsons is better than the original 10 seasons.
What will it take for them to finally put down the Simpsons? hasn't the suffering gone on long enough? are there really people breathing the same air as us that legitimately enjoy the new episodes?
Yes, the point is that Lisa is often the voice of reason but also a naive child
From what I've heard about modern Simpsons, it seems she's now just always right and her behavior justified, a self-insert for the SJW writers
I think what people here are trying to convey is that although political correctness and other forms of liberal ideals existed, they were presented on an exaggerated way, after all, it's a comedy show.
The whole prophetic thing about those shows isn't showing what already existed, but the fact that the exaggerated portrayals have become real and they seem to have a voice upon the media.
They probably are, because it's a completely different show, while season 10 was a horrible transition. Doesn't mean current Simpsons are good.
He was a pleasant man.
I havent watched Simpsons nor Family Guy in years but I recall the same thing happening to Brian the dog. In the beginning he was a part reasonable and educated and part self righteous asshat, but eventually he turned into a blatant self insert.
Using the term SJW is bad form by the way.
Who's your favourite non Simpson character, Sup Forums?
Burns, Moe or Skinner
Lionel Hutz
Oooh good call.
Dr. Nick and Otto have to be high up the rankings though.
And the later, drug addict Krusty, ya know, when he was basically Jerry Lewis.
>Animaniacs and Tiny Toons had huge furry followings on usenet. Apparently, it was part of the reason they were canned.
Could've gone my whole life without that nugget of info. Kinda wish I had.
Charles M. Burns
Lionel Hutz
Willie
Comic Book Guy
Sideshow Bob definitely
>tfw no lonely teacher to seduce
Why even get up in the morning desu
Mulhouse or Comic Book Guy
>tfw he tried to go straight, and his brother fucked him over and broke him into a murderous rage forever
I wanted him to get into more adventures with the Simpson kids.
database
moe burns hutz
Burns or Skinner
If you don't like Lisa you're either a delusional teenage nazi virgin or you watch modern Simpsons. In both cases you should kill yourself.
Troy McLure
Top five:
Moe
Hutz
Abe
Flanders
Krusty(early seasons version)
I'd rather try and seduce Hoover, she would be a crazy demon in the sack.
I think I've happed to the idea of getting spanked by Miss Hoover.
> can't wait to see team A and team B draw 0-0 and team C qualify.
stick to handegg you fuckwad
