I'm enjoying Emergency. great job on it!
How long do you guys typically spend on tracks? I usually start a song and finish it in like 8 hours and i think my songs are great but they usually dont get the reception that i was hoping/expecting. should i be spending more time on them or does that just mean i suck at making music?

WE BACK AT IT BOISEEE
Months. I've slowly become a perfectionist, usually showing unfinished stuff to friends to get feedback on what to fix, then either reworking or scrapping bits that weren't generally liked. I hate taking so long, I wish I could work faster, but I don't wanna release anything bad, so it's the compromise :)

Great production, vocals are very well recorded, real neat song. solo guitar could probably use a bit of reverb though.

Not into this style, but not going to lie... Very refreshing. Good job.
This would've been something I could have gotten into as teenager, but way too much going for me. I think that's just the old age talking. Production seems well balanced, however.
"Trippy." I could definitely listen to this in the right moment.

Could see many of these in film. Other than that though, they sound cool, just not something I could sit and listen to all day.

The production needs a little work, but I'd love for the Dark Industrial type of music to make a comeback, so keep it up!

Turn those vocals up! Other than that, this is was really nice to listen to. Thank You.

Feedback/Recommendations
Always excited when I see something new from you, really love the new track.
Influences are there, and it's pretty good for the most part. I know it's a demo, but it would be nice if you could change up the percussion from time to time.
Definitely check out Pxlsequence and Aer, both got great stuff

yeah, percussion is something i can't do too well. how do you do yours? they're pretty energetic.
Thanks man, you got the perfect voice for this style you're aiming for.
I try to get it as hyped as I can, I might even just pick out random drum samples and work with that, see how it goes, change it up, try fucking with the pitch and velocity, whatever, but you'll get there through trial and error.
how do you make this music?
any tutorial I can follow?
ahhh, alright, i've yet to experiment with drum sampling, maybe it's about time i do it since playing it with keys isn't cutting it imo. cheeers
I get bored and make beats and shiz
I use FL 12, never watched like a tutorial for it. I started messing with FL last year with a friend when we made trap beats, it was quite fun, had nothing better to do at the time, but what came out of it was really generic, so I kinda wanted to get that formula out of my system, plus it wasn't my thing.
What I ended up doing was cutting out VSTs completely, I was too lazy to download one on the computer I was using at the time (I wasn't even suppose to do anything other than school-work on that one, it belonged to my mom, she would've killed me if she saw I was doing music on it), so I decided to go through samples and fuck with effects, a lot of distortion, delay, reverb, fucking with the pitch, trial and error really.
Now, I don't suggest cutting out VSTs, but I do suggest not being fully dependent on them, try to craft your own sound from...anything really, find a small snippet of isolated vocals, stretch it, fuck with the pitch, put some retarded effect on it, it could work.
There are plenty of sites that offer sample packs from older drum machines, and I would suggest you go and download as much as you can. Even if they sound shitty/dated at first, they can still do a lot for you in terms of texture and whatnot, so use what you have.
That's the way I work at least, I'm probably the last person that should give advice on anything, but that's my take on the whole thing.
I hope it helped out at least a tiny bit.

This is really nice, man. It feels just like the artwork. Progresses really well
You've got a great voice! I really like your guitar playing in prague and flowers growing... Can definitely imagine your music being in some indie film, probably a scene dealing with the main character's inability to deal with a recent break up (that's a compliment!)
Your percussion is fucking great!
Really like your flow! Good use of the sample too

Thank you, I really worked hard on it (in a lot of cases at least)
Downloaded your album, some really good ambient going over here.
Made my day honestly, thank you! I don't see a chance of that happening ever, but those two guys are really influential to me, always looking to hear whatever they're involved in.
Anyway, this is some really nice dreampop, wish there was some vocals, but it's good for what it is, will hum the melody of the song later on probably, it's kinda stuck in my head.
holy shit this is good. not my usual style but clearly you seem to be nailing what you're going for. damn
