I unironically think that BB was not a good show. The acting was bad, the pacing was bad, the story was maddening in a bad way, the characters were unrealistic.

Once thing I've noticed is that 80% of plebes will praise a show that others say is good. My friends actually that GoT is currently high art. they have seen no decline in quality. BB is on the level of GoT: pretty fucking bad

The whole last season was shit.

I can't even remember what's happening in this scene desu. Is this the start of Ozymandias?

For a cable show that only needed to fill 42 minutes x 13 episodes a year it was extremely repetitive, and over relied on montages, cliffhangers, and endless scenes of characters staring at each other talking in gravel voices to pad itself out

Jesse did the same thing for the first 3 or 4 episodes of season four. Play Xbox and cry, party and cry, roomba and cry; a good 40% of the show's screentime for a while was crying. No other drama show I've seen repeats the same plot or character elements for multiple episodes like that. The good ones actually come up with something novel to say each week

You need to take a break from the internet

That's because the later seasons were garbage. At least in the first 2 you saw a unique situation in every episode.

I'm sure you know this, but Jesse was supposed to die in season 2 when he stopped being a useful character. The entire point of his character was basically to introduce Walt to the world of meth making/dealing and that's it.

Way?

Too bad it didnt happen this way

Second season was by far the worst. Picked up a bit better towards the end.

what do you do all day

This show couldn't be more Reddit if it tried. Remember this opening? Seriously why were they thinking?

youtu.be/I02BxxD2M0E

I thought was good but extremely overrated.

>tfw I watched this opening with Sup Forums via stream
>tfw the chat went absolute bonkers during the entire thing
>tfw I witnessed the birth of the reving intensifies meme

Ah sweet, sweet memories.

Selling the methylamine they stole from the train

It wasn't total shit, just mainly a severe letdown.

I mean...fucking seriously...it felt like a new show by season 5 after Gus died.

We go from Walt working to make that cash, inadvertently aiding Gus in his revenge plot, only to kill Gus himself then...fucking neo-nazi assassins just...there.

Yeah season 5 was a pretty bad clusterfuck. I thought that ending was pretty good though.

Same. God damn. Remember when that screenshot of Gus missing half his face was leaked way before that episode aired? Good shitposting times.

The best part is that the quality of CGI on AMC shows has actually declined since then.

When I watched the first time I was very into it, and yeah I wanted to know what happened obviously.

Second viewing this show is very flawed, especially the first 2 seasons, and the 5th season.

3 and 4 still hold up, but I still dislike the stupid "Super Pedro Bros" who just walk slowly everywhere without saying a word.

The last season should have dealt more with the collapse of the Fring empire, and everyone trying to hide their tracks. The whole

>Lets rob the train and here's a lydia and an autist we make new business oh and nazis lol we need a bad guy

plot line was terrible.

Should have been walt going anxious and claustrophic and crazy as Hank slowly tracks him down

Who's the protagonist of this show? We all know Walt is the Antagonist.

obviously jesse. the show is about his progression into a sympathetic character and walt's descent into evil

You know what should have been a better ending?

Skyler, Walt Jr. and the babb get killed and Walters cancer is cured

I can definitely admit that I was pretty annoyed at Jesse for being such a little bitch and for crying so much

This is basically just an ad for those cars

Anybody else think Skylar was the most bitchy, insufferable cunt in all of kino history?

I seriously could not stand her at all at any point in the fucking series.

Always bitching about her typical suburban soccer mom "problems" and other petty bullshit.

>forced to kill an innocent man to save his own life
>partially responsible/associated with murders of children
>TWO girls he hooks up with die, one overdoses because he was the catalyst for her getting back into drugs, the other is outright murdered and her son gets poisoned
>used and manipulated by Walt for a year, literally enslaved for another year
Jesse had a hard life

Do you even know what those words mean? Protagonist does not mean good guy, it means main character. Which was Walter. Antagonist is anyone against the main character.

You are the only person in the history of Sup Forums - Television & Film to hold that opinion.

Yeah that's true. I felt bad for him but it was still annoying to watch him crying 90% of the show

This, he was a sympathetic character that the writers completely shit on by utilizing him the wrong way.

I fucking hate these antihero shows like BB or The Shield. They make you root for the main character for years then all of a sudden they do a complete 180 and tell you he's bad and you should feel bad for liking him.

Who says that the main character always has to be a good guy?

>the acting was bad
no

>the pacing was bad
no, except for the 5th season

>the story was maddening in a bad way
pleb

>the characters were unrealistic
depends

pleb/10 review. back to capeshit, shoo shoo

Exactly!

When did they said that you should feel bad for liking him? They purposely made him difficult to hate. Also, what the hell were you expecting with a name like "Breaking Bad"? Should they have named it "The Main Character Turns into a Bad Guy Throughout This Series"?

What's wrong with Season 5? They actually got shit done. I don't remember which season it is, but whichever one Hank was crippled for most of was such a fucking drag

you're right, that one with cripplehank had infinitely worse pacing

Different guy but I also don't really get why people disliked season 5. I guess I'm a bit biased though because I liked every season, season one was actually my favorite season.

Season 5 is way too over the top, and the le evil Neo-Nazi villains are underwhelming in comparison to Gus. They tried too hard.

How is it over the top? It feels like a very natural progression considering everything else Walt has gone through. The Neo-Nazis weren't meant to be anything more than a couple of murderers anyways

fpbp

BCS is insanely better than memeing bad.

shit b8

they literally came out of nowhere, and the only real point of them existing was to make the show more epic for all of the new normie fans. they did a pretty good job working it in, but after you watch season 5 over a second time you notice how unnecessary they really were

>implying Tuco, Gus, and Walt's decent into the drug business isn't over the top as well

That ending was a total hack bullshit. Walt places the car at the EXACT LOONEY TUNES LOCATION where his machinegun robot can conveniently shoot all le Nazional Socialists, but wait - all but Meth Damon, how convenient, because le Bitch Guy simply must get his personal vendetta on him, because POETRY. But even bigger POETRY is Walter dying while petting his BABY BLUE, Jesus what symbolism, unheard of on television.

A lot of people don't realize that BrBa was a comedy. You were supposed to laugh at how stupid the whole last episode was.

>I'm making classic PepsiĀ©
What did he mean by this?

What the fuck? Why don't I remember this? Fucking kek

This.
I couldn't stand the introduction of the neo-nazis as the main enemy. Not because I'm a Sup Forumslack but because it's just a lazy scapegoat for a villain.
>why are they evil? They're nazis! That's why they're evil!
Completely unneeded, the show had enough structure to introduce a better villain like a cartel drug lord. Or as you said simply Hank slowly tracking him down. That would've been much better.

This is actually patrician opinion. BB is reddit-tier garbage.

Who else kind of enjoyed the show until Sup Forums started saying it sucks? I can't even imagine rewatching the show because I know I will not be able to take it at face value, and will instead find reasons to criticize it rather than see it as fun

Everything is worse than BANE because BANE is amazing.

True to gods, this might actually be the worst thing I've ever seen on television. Cringeworthy on ten thousand levels and then some more.
