I’m a fan of records, not bands. There’s even stuff that The Beatles did which I wouldn’t bother replacing if they were robbed off me. The Bends is a great record, but OK Computer and Amnesiac… I really don’t see what all the fuss is about. There’s nothing on ‘em that wasn’t being done by Faust 25-years ago.

>post yfw Noel Gallagher is more patrician than 99% of Sup Forums
he's not wrong
Noel's a fucking potato
did he really mention faust?
BASED NOEL
Yeah
yeah
noel did a neu cover for a tribute album. guy likes his kraut
Based Noel desu
Legends say that he spent two months writing that statement.
He's 100% right. Radiohead were decent when they did unabashed pop rock, because that's what they are. They went down the ldavid bowie path of insecure pop star wanting to be experimental and ripping off krautrock and black artists
isn't that what the beatles did
Noel "3 chords and minor pentatonic" Gallagher
Experimental Bowie is pretty underrated desu
Name 6 Krautrock bands The Beatles copied
stockhausen and the junglings

i agree with this
the vast majority of bands out there, you're lucky to get 1, maybe 2 good albums out of them. put out 3 good records in a row and you're superstars
>experimental Bowie
i.e. Brian Eno
Krautrock undoubtedly influenced Radiohead majorly, but nobody would ever mistake Radiohead for Can, Neu!, or Amon Duul II, or vice versa.
It's okay to be influenced by the other people's music
