I'm 21 years old and my hair started to fall out a lot for a couple of moths. I am almost sure it's male pattern baldness and i'm don't think I can do anything about it, my father and most of my uncles are bald.
Any of you experiencing this at such a young age and if so what did you do?

just hide it with a hairstyle. although people have been saying it for decades, it truly think that a permanent efficient cure is not too far off. 10 years i'd give it. so focus on cosmetic solutions, do not get a transplant or any of that weird shit. huge waste of money.

Assume baldness. SHave the rest of your hair. Yo'ull look way better entirely shaven than with decaying stubs of hair around your head

This
Just go bald

This. I started around when I was 24 and although I still have hair, just shaving it off is very nice and honestly a confidence booster.

Mine started to fall out at 16 but because it was so thick no one noticed until it started to go at the front in the end my hairline looked like a Maccy D's golden arches. If you don't want a skin head just buy some hair trimmers and shave it every few days.

shave your head in weird patterns, glue on some fake hair for added effect, do this for a couple weeks. Then just go completely bald. People will assume its normal.

go bald op the faster you assume it the faster it will become irrelevant to you.
A permanent cure will probable come out in the next few years so just wait.

just trim your hair close - nothing's worse than a balding dude who's in denial and keeping his longer hair. You don't need to shave your head, just buzz it. Also, grow a fucking beard.

Source: I'm "V A" in your photo with a dope long beard

Working with II myself. Shaved it bald before, now I just shave the sides until it gets too bad and I go full skinhead mode

It just started and it still looks fine for now.
One thing I noticed is that after I shower it seems to stop for a while and then if I don't shower for long it starts fallling more and more.

Problem is I can't get a beard yet.

wait for your balls to drop then i guess

Tough luck m8. Embrace it and shave your head completely. It's honestly not a huge change unless you make it one. Do not under any circumstances get a toupee or a shitty combover.

Be decisive and confident. Bitches really respond to that shit

It's a gene thing, my father was the same, some people can't grow a beard even well after 25

>nothing's worse than a balding dude who's in denial and keeping his longer hair.
This. Nobody besides the bald guy really focuses on their bald head. However, any attempt to cover it up will be like a giant signal on the head everyone will immediately be drawn to look at. Mockery will ensue.

How can I make sure it's male pattern baldness?

Dude just go skinhead. Losing hair is not the end of the world, heck it might even for the best

do exactly the opposite of what this user said

fucking this.

anyone knows a way to improve this?

in october i'll be 25 i have a decent mustache and a good enough beard however i only have shitty patches of hair on my cheeks.

my father says he was 30 something when all came together.

I look like shit without hair and can't grow a beard even if my life counted on it.

I'm the same as you right now, 21, i don't really think we can do anything about it, i hope i'll get one untill 25.

I put this testosterone shit on my head, cleared up my thinning hair problem easy. Just gotta catch it early

What shit?

try minoxidil and finasteride

yeah but what about all those side-effects i keep hearing about.

Rogain is not a myth, it actually works. But you need to use it every day and when you stop using it, it stops working.

Sup op, I'm 20 and I noticed my hair thinning when I was about 16. If you want there are some things you can do
1. Try medication, there are a few on the market including Rogaine, minoxidil, and propecia. These all come with their own side effects so educate yourself. Also this is a treatment not a cure so you will take it the rest of your life. Another point is that you will see only little hair regrowth but it will allow you to keep the hair you have.
2. Surgery, you could opt for a hair transplant but they are expensive and don't always come out looking good.
3. Shave it all off, by far the easiest and best method for dealing with balding.
I still have hair on my head despite noticing hair loss at 16 however with the thinning process I will probably have to shave it in a couple months. I would reccomend you do the same. If you want you can try medication but their is risk involved that could be very dangerous and ruin your life. I wouldn't do the hair transplant unless you are desperate. Hope that helped op.

Thing is tough it looks normal right now, maybe I should wait a bit more to make sure it's baldness before I shave it off, what do you think?

Also have you considered medication or is that a no for you?

started losing my hair when i was 27, I'm 31 and im between a V and a VI, its fucking devastating to me. I used to style my hair and make it look nice, now Im just relegated to wearing a hat everywhere I go. Enjoy it while you have it, once its gone, its as gone as a hand or a leg.

I think you should wait it out, could you describe to me what the balding pattern looks like or take a picture of it? If it's receeding there are still other hairstyles you can try that still look good
I have but I ended up not taking it, funny thing is when I was like 18 I talked to my doctor and he prescribed me minoxidil but it never arrived at the pharamcy and I just stopped caring.

Like right now it looks pretty normal, i think I will see it better if I get a haircut. One thing I noticed is that is that it falls a lot more if I don't shower for a while.

Getting some pics now.

It does look to be receeding a bit on the temple but it honestly doesn't look that bad, any family history with balding and if so how bad is it? That could be as far as the hairline is pushed back if you're lucky.

That's the thing my father is bald but like not completely, only in the front, and most of my uncles are bald as well.

>do not get a transplant or any of that weird shit. huge waste of money.
This. Hair transplants last like, what, 5 years tops?

^ Follow this if you want to look either like a fucking white supremacist or a fucking ex con/meth dealer. You'll look like human trash.

I don't know if you know about him but there's this guy on youtube, greg benson has a channel mediocrefilms and he had hair translapnt and honestly looked real good for some time, don't know much much he payed though.

Well baldness is genetic so most likely you will get the same hairline as your father. If you don't like that then I would see a specialist and start medication, however some of these medications are not originally for hair loss. I know Rogaine was a blood pressure medication till they found out that it had the unexpected side effect of hair regrowth. Also heard horror stories of propecia so I would avoid that at all cost.

I should probably visit a doctor before I make any decisions, but it can't really be anything else.

Yes it sucks but it is what it is.

Thanks to anyone who replied to my thread!
Guess it's the end for me.
