Admit it, you feel the same

Admit it, you feel the same.

I actually like arya and brienne. the rest can fuck off and die.

I like all those characters. But Lyanna Mormont has no power, Melisandre burned a child alive, and Dany is a moron. They're women that should be respected but it's not some feminazi bull shit.

>GoT post S4

Melisandre isn't in that pic, retardo

I gave up on the GoT last season because plot progressed nowhere. Also, not all of those women actually amount for something.

The absolute butchering of Arya's story arc is the main reason I cannot be bother with Game of revenge-porn anymore.

While the iron Island girl is great, Sansa is vastly improving and Brienne is fantastic (with the exception that she is clearly particularly uncoordinated which shatters any illusion she could possibly be a competent fighter),
Child actors are almost always shit and that northern tribe girl is no exception.

Additionally, Daenerys is actually really great in other films, but fucking unbearably awful in this.
Seems the script writing has gone to shit (as if no-one had noticed).

Pity too, it was nice having a good fantasy show on TV.
back to bullshit written by daft faggots we go.

>Asha is great
>liking le quirky lezzer
kys

>Women in a fictional universe being more brave then men

>Being proud of this

Cersei isn't muh strong independent women?

>with the exception that she is clearly particularly uncoordinated which shatters any illusion she could possibly be a competent fighter),
This completely throws me off too, coupled in with those ridiculous faces and noises she makes in fight scenes.

what show is this?

Not like women have much else to be proud of. That would require them to work and accomplish things.

Lolno

...
But doesn't that mean you and an embarrassingly large proportion of posters on Sup Forums are women?

they're going to be mad when 5/6 die

>Daenerys is actually really great in other films,
LMAO

Arya and Theon's sister are pretty based

Brienne is full of victim complex

Sansa switches from crying, victim complex to being saved all the time

Caloreesi makes mistakes at every turn and gets bailed out by stronger, better men, how many free armies has she gotten by now?

the Mormont girl is cool i guess, but she's barely in the show

>Arya and Theon's sister are pretty based

by that i mean, they have suffered some pretty bad hardships and instead of crying about it they have dealt with it on their own

Just like us, right user?

all of them would get beat by a fully fit hound

Probably, would explain why this board has such awful taste as well.

>mah fear of women

Stay Islamic, faggot.

She was great in Me Before You.

Stay mad, young friend.

Bro dont tell me you didnt get hard seeing her kiss that girl amd grab her ass

I dislike all of those characters.

In terms of female characters - I only like Melisandre and Cersei.

How much I like them:

Dany > Little Bear > Brienne > Yara >> Sansa >>> Arya

>I actually like arya

>only good female character Cersei is not in the picture
Shit taste.

no

>we did it gals!
>we finally have 6 uggos representing us on television!
>running an army and riding horses and killing a bunch of gross dudes is totally something we could do if we weren't on tumblr this whole time

i just dont like wimmen

>taken over
>when jon is the reincarnation of a god
>when 4 of those characters portray everything that is wrong with having women in power
I kinda wish dykes didn't watch this show.

First response best response.

Every other woman on there is a disappointment who made bad decisions and the bitch from the iron islands might be retarded.

>Lets decide to suddenly care about my brother after I left him to die even though he choose me over the Stark's proving his loyalty.

>he likes arya

When people say they like cersei, do they mean they like the portrayal? Because the character itself is hopelessly flawed and ends up being a constant example of revengebait. The character is saved solely by based Lena, who knows full well how to play a bad guy.

How the FUCK could women have power in a brutal, non PC world where killing and raping is the norm?

>PRO TIP THIS SHOW FUCKING SUCKS

>strong, badass women
>they're all fucking idiots, incompetent, violent and cruel

They never would, ever
Dany would of died in season 1. Especially in season 5 and 6

They're mary sues now and the writing bends to make them not die the horrible deaths they should when it used to be a realistic medieval show

>liking Arya
>liking Brienne

Ayra is shit and Brienne is a fucking hack.

fake catharsis

>GoT post S1

>feminism only works in fiction
At least they're starting to admit it.

>ironbaby
>likeable in any way

Don't hate Brienne just because she nearly beat our husbando to death.

Arya is a child so I'm willing to give her some leeway in bad decision making that I wouldn't some of these other characters. Even without that though in the context of the book and show she makes better decisions than most adults. You can call it bad writing but you cant blame the character for that.

Brienne is a magical teleporting mary sue who's gone much, much farther than she's ought to have gone.

And Arya was completely and utterly butchered in S6. Writing or no, she's now a shit tier character.

>One of the bad guys is an over-emotional woman who is prone to violent outbursts and bad decisions.

Are you insane? She was fucking terrible in that movie

ITT: insecure men

lmaooo

HELLA F*CKING EPIC BROOOOOOOOO

>You can call it bad writing but you cant blame the character for that.

are you autistic? that's all the fucking character is is writing.

Have you heard the phrase commonly used "Don't hate the player hate the game?"

You can hate the writing as a whole and the characterization within but individual actors within the narrative are not responsible for what is wrong with the rest of the work.

Characters are not the same thing as the actors that portray them

What you're saying is don't hate Maisie. Which no one said, we said Arya is a shit character

That has happened in real life. Which historically has seen shit more brutal than anything they have ever shown on GOT.

>today's society in any first world country
>brutal and non-pc
>women in charge of anything important

Fuck off

I meant "actors" as in people committing actions within the framework of a story.

I think Arya is a character who makes good decisions despite her limitations. That was my original argument. What I was saying about that is you might think her making good decisions against the sea of adults making bad decisions is poor writing and characterization on her part in comparison. I think it's wrong to judge individual good characters against the bad writing of a whole franchise though. I'm trying to put it in the simplest way possible, but it's a lot more complicated than this I know.

Maybe read the post i was replying to.
No one said that our countries are brutal and non pc TODAY.

...

I'm fine with it, except I don't like how the show has handled Dany or Arya's character arc tbqh

Women never got power like they have in GoT historically, ever. I assumed you meant today's world, which is only slightly more true

Elizabeth 1 was one of the most brutal monarchs in Western history h80

There was an interview with Richard Plepler with him saying he hates the direction the show is going, since it's seeing signs of weakness in repeat viewership and repeat sales.

He basically said the "stronk" feminist theme is hurting the show's re-watchability and after sales.

People who see the new show once don't tend to watch it again."

> seeing signs of weakness in repeat viewership and repeat sales.
>People who see the new show once don't tend to watch it again."

I'm kinda in this boat. The show is pretty good, but having seen the crappy story writing, I have not much desire to see it again... except for a few action scenes.

Im not saying women never had power, or even power over entire armies.

Currently at the end of GoT the ENTIRE KNOWN WORLD is governed by women. Through sheer stupidity and bad writing, mind.

Entirety of Westeros is under a woman on the Iron Throne. Her soon to be Usurpers are all women in power. Out east is a castellan argueably who is also answering to a woman. Etc

This is not women never had power, this is women never had complete control over the entirety of Earth

>they haven't been enjoying arya, cersei, et al, since season 1 and instead enjoy the "winks at screen" stronk women sand snek pandering shit from s5/6

plebs should honestly just kill themselves to be quite clear in my humble opinion imo

OP too.

free cities aren't controlled by womyn

Caloressi just crushed them before leaving Daario behind in her stead. If not in control then complete destruction of any resistance

I recently re-watched everything from season 1 to 6.
Its goddamn awesome.
The best series made yet.
The scope and story lines are just great.
What an age we live in.

>S5-S6
>good by any standard

Season 6 is fantastic.
All the major players are set up for a magnificent finale.
It could go so many ways.
I am excited about season 7.

Did Breaking Bad change your life too?

>He basically said the "stronk" feminist theme is hurting the show's re-watchability and after sales.
>People who see the new show once don't tend to watch it again."

Agreed. After seeing it once, I don't feel the need to rewatch even the fight scenes.

It kinda feels like we're just watching this cause we have so much invested and want to see an ending.

I've tried to re watch it.
But I get into season 2 or so and then drop it.
Not really re-watchable.
Got has staying power.

>a fat mary sue who is literally convenienced by the plot at every turn. In a bit of a pickle? give her a free army for absolutely no reason because le stronk womyn plot armour
>a dyke pirate who got chased off by a shirtless manlet and a couple of staffordshire bull terriers
>blubbering victim that was hyped up to be a political badass in S4 but then turned into an even bigger victim who got raped because reasons
>an androgynous mary sue who is essentially just a plot driver for whatever important is happening to another character at a specific moment in time
>annoying little chestlet who had an entirely pointless filler arc in S6 only to have her teleport to Westeros in the last minute to tick a name of her little ebin " heh nothing personnel kid" list
>this is what society deems as badass women

"I'm not a shill! You can trust me!"

Yes I was hired by HBO to shill their show on an anime website.

Me too!

Goddamit Tim, I told you this is my site.
You get reddit.

But reddit makes me laugh too much to actually do my job.

>badass

I'm contacting my supervisor.
This has got to stop.
I've got five kids to feed and you're screwing with my bonus.

Lady Mormont was the best part of any episode she was in.

>dany, soapy
>ugly
kys

At least four of those characters are entirely defined by their own stupidity. That people actually think that's good is disheartening.

Asha's good in the books. In the show, she's 'token bitch no 200,000' and she's not even called Asha for some dumb reason.

>stupid characters are loved by stupid people
not surprising desu

I admit I haven't watched GoT.

I like Dany and the Mormont girl.
The rest can die.

Sansa didn't take over anything though.
She got BTFO by the north proclaming Jon as the King

>Shapeshifting skilled assassain
>Conqueror who is impervious to fire and armed with a gigantic army and three dragons, who started with everything, was then left with almost nothing and built back her force.
>badass reaver, bangs hot chicks, deeply respected by her men.
>actually cool kid character and strong willed leader, cares about her people and her homeland
>probably the most resilient character in the show, has an actual arc, growing from a weak girly girl into a strong unflinching person who can deal with the harshness of the world, that scene with Ramses.
>probably the best fighter in the show, kicked the Hound's ass, will keep her word and do anything to fulfill her promises, even fight to the death.
How are they not badasses?

Best girl

>girl

good one

What then?

Except the I'm loving it, yeah.

it's like you didn't read the thread
