Yes, but the good kind of autism.
>1. Opening Credits
DIIV - Loose Ends
Pretty good song for opening credits, honestly. There's genuinely a sensation of melancholy and hope there at the same time, it's nice.
>2. First Day at School
Charlie Parker - Out of Nowhere
>bebop on first day of school
It's also kind of a sad song, too, actually. Feels overwhelming gray to me, that's the best way to put it. It feels kind of detached.
>3. Falling in Love
Sabaton - Uprising
>power metal about the Warsaw Uprising in WW2
>falling in love
What the fuck. Oh well, I guess that kinda solidifies it as being a story set shortly after WW2.
>4. First Fight
The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby
That's not a first fight song at all, unless it's played to really ramp up the main character's depression and alienation.
>5. Prom
Oscar Pettiford - Rhumblues
And here we have bebop again. This one is decently cheery, actually. Feels a bit of happiness for our main character.
>6. Depression
The Who - Tattoo (Live at Leeds)
>me and my brother were talking to eachother about what makes a man a man
So our character's having a bit of a rebellious streak manifested through depression. Great.
>7. Chase Scene
Miles Davis - Flamenco Sketches
That's not chase scene music unless we're going full noir. Might as well.
>8. Final Battle
Bombay Bycicle Club - Leave It
It's more of an emotional climax. Given our character's tendency for noir stuff, brooding in depression, and some really bad pasts, I can imagine this happening in the character's head as he fights against himself (like that sequence in The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya).
>9. Death Scene
Bob Dylan - I'll Be Your Baby Tonight
Going folksy here. It's also kinda romantic, too, which is interesting. A contrast with the protagonist's depressive city life?
>10. End Credits
The Cure - Fascination Street
And this one just doesn't fit as a whole, but goddamn is it good music for the ending. With proper editing it might, though.
