Pic related, just saw this and it was unbearable. I went solely because it was a 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. Big mistake. I don't know the meme status of RT is on here since I'm new on this board, but I am never trusting film critics and letting them influence my cinema decisions ever again. If you haven't watched this yet, don't let me influence you, but I haven't walked out of a movie since Ted 2 (only got halfway through the intro before bolting out)
I walked out when Chris Gethard's dad dies
I only have one word to describe this movie: messy. I knew what was going on but it was like they were forcing it to be some 'indie improv' shit. All the hipsters with their wine were glaring at me when me and my date walked out. Cringeee.
What movie did you last walk out of? What is your opinion on people who don't watch the whole movie? Do you think I should've stayed? Do you think a comedy genre should exist? I feel like when a movie is labeled a comedy, the expectations for laughter are too high.

Don't see comedies in the theater

Couples Retreat. But only because my friend had to go to work - why we didn't just schedule around this, I don't understand.
Isaiah Howard
Why?
How come?

I don't remember ever leaving a theater during a movie, but there were a few of them that I wish I had. 1408 and The Fourth Kind for example.
Hunter Adams
Comedies don't have any elements that are better seen at a theater. And if the crowd laughs too much at a joke you will miss the dialogue that follows it up

Never have I not finished a movie, and if you have, you should leave this board and proceed to kill yourself.

I dare you to watch the entirety of Eraserhead.
Isaiah Foster
I have, of course.

It's kinda like Big Bang Theory. If you take away the laugh track, it becomes a soap opera about four friends coping day to day with Sheldon's Asperger's.
It's amazing how a laugh track or an audience can influence your feelings like that.
Cooper Anderson
How the hell could you sit through that thing without drifting into a bizarro hypnotic state?
Brayden Murphy
How are you not able to pay attention to something you don't enjoy for 90 minutes? I'm gonna assume people like you have never read a book, studied, took a class on something or had a boring job.

What's the point of sitting through something that I hate if I don't gain anything from it? Studying and being a wageslave at least gets you somewhere. Sitting through Eraserhead is a complete waste of time.

I don't conceive art consumption as a waste of time.

Jurrasic Park 3.
I sneaked in to watch it using some Jason Bourne style moves only to realise after 5 minutes it was absolute shit. Glad I hadn't paid.
Owen Ward
I would never walk out on a movie.

Only ive ever walked on was Anger Management.
Parents didn't think it was appropriate for a 12 year old
