>If you like krautrock but not disco
rec me some god tier dicso, f a m
i like all those tho
Good to know im not
But city pop is alottt better than aor desu
They are as mediocre as each other desu
city pop is just watered down Steely Dan, senpai
City pop is often pretty funky so its a lot more rhythmatically interesting to me. When its not using synths, the instruments also seems to be better played.

Strongly disagree with that one. AOR is a prog spinoff, you know.
I mean compared to Aor of course.
And I wouldnt say alot of other things sound like watered down Steely Dan so Im taking anything that is.
I must be thinking about the wrong Aors. Im guessing you have Asia in mind whereas I'm thinking more Europe.
Isn't Europe glam metal?
AOR is like youtube.com
Remember when Can made a disco song?

This ones p disco too
what the fuck were they thinking?
They were thinking "disco is good, let's do that"
The term is honestly as vague and broad as classic rock as it is also a radio format.
>If you like krautrock but not disco
but krautrock sounds nothing like disco?
what you should've said is "if you like krautrock but not jazz funk"
Tbh you either never bother to listen to jazz funk or love it to death
