I've missed /shugazi/ this week, where've you all been friends? This is the best general btw.
This is a very good year so far for Dream Pop, with Japanese Breakfast, Jay Som, You'll Never Get to Heaven. Any more good straight shoegaze releases? Other than slowdive ofc...
That album cover looks gorgeous user, being the petty person that I am I will check it out purely because of that. Tried this album recently, very much like it.
John White
The album is really gorgeous too IMO, the songs blur into each other a bit but its so dreamy and I love it...
If Black Marble - It's Immaterial where Black, then Images is white, is how I'd describe it. It's distant and dreamy, but also floaty and sweet.
John Mitchell
Listening to it now, God this is good user, thank-you for telling me about this. This song seems to have a glockenspiel on it (White Light at the moment), really comfy without feeling too drony.
Jose Johnson
glad you're liking it, honestly it might be AOTYSF for me, overtaking Japanese Breakfast
Nathan Williams
I can certainly see why you'd say so. I really need to give that Japanese Breakfast album a listen. I'm going to go through all of those You'll Never Get to Heaven albums loads of listens today, see what they're about. Love Images thus far.
Wyatt Phillips
Really good album OP, definitely one of my favorites for the year. Pic related is my favorite track. As far as shoegaze goes I'm still really digging the new Deafcult. I would say Secret Wisdom and Rubix are the best cuts on it. deafcultbrisbane.bandcamp.com/album/auras

No actually, just Crush, Supercrush and Deluxer. I have Whitenoise Superstar too but haven't heard it yet
Nicholas Murphy
>I have Whitenoise Superstar too but haven't heard it yet That's a good one, if you're enjoying his work so far I'd definitely recommend it.
He also has some more projects. If you love the atmospheres of his music and can handle ambient pacing, then Loveliescrushing's album Bloweyelashwish is very nice. There's also Star, which is a Cortez project with a faster pace and cutesy twee-pop-esque songwriting.
Josiah Fisher
star is bad and his worst project
Anthony Phillips
Devastator is one of the best shoegaze albums ever though.
It's a little poppy, but the instrumentation is fantastic and Shannon Roberts is an incredible songwriter.
Colton Rivera
Deafcult, a band from Queensland Australia, with such a huge dense sound. I saw them live as a support band and I had never heard of them prior and they were so good. Definitely worth a listen.
Nathan Wilson
The male singer has a Jim Reid sound to him, I like it.
Camden Ward
Alison's Halo > Slowdive Fight me
Nathan Bell
Very good stuff.
Lucas Bailey
reposting this great dronegaze
Nicholas Perry
Alison's Halo is so good that I can't even get angry at you for believing that.
Jason Moore
Is that good or bad?
Gavin Young
I'm from New Zealand tfw MBV never came here
Logan Peterson
Good stuff. Not shugazi, but when checking for them on youtube I accidentally stumbled upon some jap pop rock band that was surprisingly decent. youtube.com/watch?v=OAoFvUhgKzQ
Charles Price
this is pretty good, I really like shoegaze with drone influences
Anthony Moore
I went to sleep and best general is still alive!? godbless im proud of you guys
Jaxson Nelson

Ian Watson
I've only ever heard Eyedazzler and I gotta day it felt boring and lifeless. Like it sounded forced and not genuine
Charles Smith
ive been finding myself listening to this album a lot lately
