...

Oldboy or Reservoir Dogs

Primer is a top tier film. If you've already watched it, watch π

The Stanford prison experiment

yee

Interstellar was kinda slow but good.

...

You wont regret it

This. You need to watch it at least two times.

Im gonna give this one a shot ty

Not necessarily scary or even that good, but very enjoyable.

Where do you watch the movie? Or do you download?

...

most people won't sit through this, i enjoyed it.

I watched that the other day and was pleasantly surprised.

Unrelated to that, I also watched Emelie
It reminded me a lot of Orphan, I like it

Find someplace to stream it online. Great movie, btw.

Awesome flik

I love Emilie. Good amount of weird for it to be scary, but no overkill.

Im gonna give all these a look ty
1337x

Devil's Candy is on Netflix btw. I assume you have it since you listed Primer, but if you don't you could use Putlocker.

Aguirre the wrath of god

I'm struggling to find good streaming sites. Also nice trips

Watch Goodfellas. One of my favorites

devils candy is cliche. hated it until the ending. it might annoy u but just get through it and u might like it. definitely not for people who enjoy smarter movies, but i guess it's fun.

to start off with don't watch Primer its garbage

Seen it, was pretty good and yes i have netflix but i saw primer back in like 07 /08 on dvd

boring crap, nothing happens
im sick of people recommending this shit

Primer is awesome. Requires a second viewing. I can see it being boring for people who don't enjoy dialogue, but it isn't a crutch for the film.

google
watch emilie online free

It will get you a bunch of sites but you really need to have security on your browser and your system turned on to the max.

Yeah I really liked it. I have to agree with
though, it definitely is cliche with the whole set-up. But that wasn't a huge problem for me. I'm no movie critic so nbd.

Oooo, you're triggered easily!

Babadook.
Guaranteed reply.

Just make sure to use adblock because half those sites have pop-ups. Also don't forget to utilize ctrl+w as quick as you can before you get some bullshit "error report".

Primer is a great film. If you find it boring or uninteresting, I feel bad for you.

>Oldboy

choose wisely

I loved that until the ending. Maybe I'm being an idiot but I have no idea why they (SPOILER) kept the thing as a pet.

Pass brother, on my phone that shit ain't flying. Thanks anyway

I'm absolutely retarded I should go to bed.

Dune
Forbidden Planet

That thing is grief. You can't get rid of grief. You just find a way to deal with it.

Well look at it from another perspective.
How the hell do you get rid of it?
It's not like it stayed in the house like some kind of haunting.
It was with them wherever they went.
They found a way to keep it satiated, so that's exactly what they did.
Trying to actually destroy it most likely would've gotten them killed no matter where they ran.

It's here coming to terms with her grief, it's a pretty cool message.

Hadn't thought of it that way. Here come the excuses but it's hard to actually think about a movie seriously when you're watching it with your friends. Maybe I should watch it by myself.

Movies like Postal are fun to watch with friends

That's why I watch movies I'm really interested on heard they were good alone or at the cinema, it really enhances the experience

I've never been to the movies alone. I would like to do things you typically do with friends alone, but I've never really been a social outcast. I know that's rich coming from someone on Sup Forums, but it's true. Seems like it would be fun.

Martyrs 2008 is amazing. I can't recommend that movie enough. Don't watch the 2015 remake it's awful and Americanised also try finding a version with subs rather than dubs, it really enhances the experience.

I've never been to the movies alone either, it's just a good way to get people to shut up if you're friends with decent people that is. I watch movies alone at home, mostly horrors.

Same here. I also can't watch scary movies during the day. It makes sense but it's annoying that if I find a movie I want to watch it won't have the same effect until later that night.

>Dune
Is this actually good? I don't want to ruin my image of the novels. I've seen one scene, where Paul is reciting the litany against fear, and it was pretty cringy if I'm honest.
I might just wait however long it takes for that reboot to release.

It's makes for such a better experience. Preferably with a surround sound system. I Don't have one yet so I have to do with earbuds, but someday.

Ooh I would love a surround system. I have no money tho lol.

This one is very good!

Same, gotta find work to get my own place and then I'll make my home cinema.

Misery is a great thriller.

Enter the Void.

Suspenseful as fuck!

Haha I'm trying to move out to. I work at mcds tho so it might be hard :/

Slow but it was pretty interesting.

Just a heads up, do NOT get cheaper model Sony surround sound systems.
I have a Yamaha that I've been using for years with zero issues and I've been recommended Yamaha and Denon
I have two old cheap Sony ones, both made with inferior quality parts. One burnt out literally, and the other is on the way out.

Damn, tough. But it's still better than no job.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it.

Is this torture porn?

how much was the whole set up? also when i move out i plan on getting a studio (since it's cheaper) so would i still need the whole thing for such a small floorplan?

This was probably 10 years or so ago
About $600 for the receiver itself (Yamaha)
$300-$600 for the floor standing Polk speakers
$300 for the bookshelf matching Polk speakers
2 free shit Sony satellite speakers (routed to the bathroom on region 2)
$100 for the subwoofer amp
$200 for the subwoofer and box (literally a car subwoofer wired up to the home audio)

haha yeah just looking at the first price and that isn't gonna happen. maybe when i get a better job. even then i'll be paying rent and all that other bullshit so i doubt it.

Don't be afraid to buy used from pawn shops.
Ask them to prove it works, but even then don't get bottom of the line.
You get what you pay for.

Near the end yeah, but it's a very good suspenseful movie with a dope message.
