(Literally traded a 480 for a 1070 lol)

Fuck off back to your cancer ylyl and dick rate threads.

Just wondering, why use a 1700x with only 3gb of RAM and a gtx 560..? Isn't ryzen also highly dependent on your ram speed?

true, also requires you buy RAM that AMD certifies as good or else it will be slow af

1800x*

Ryzen the new master race tho, fuck intel :)

16gb kingston ram
amd fx-8320 8core

i am saving now for a bunch of 10tb hdd

Honestly I'm more of a scavenge rat, if i see a used 3770k or something going for cheap, I'd snatch that shit up and just overclock it

Mind if i ask what you need 10tb drives for?

Not even sure what the GPU is

what model are dem monitors G

LG Neo Blade II.
Pretty standard 24" 60Hz IPS panels.
Got them cus they are cheap and have a thin bezel.

At least the APUs from AMD have good integrated graphics. Used to be able to play stuff like Metro Last Light on one fairly well.

Yeah, it can run some games pretty good, but I really only use it for work and surfing the internet.
For games, I have a PS4, Xbone, and a WiiU.

Are those NAS drives under your tower or something completely different?

yeah thats my NAS. Just a cheap box with ~10TB of storage. Use it as a torrent box / Plex Server mostly.

Ahh nice, was thinking of something similar for a future "couples" build. Never used Plex but I've heard a lot about it.

its great. I used to run XBMC on a couple of raspberry pi's for cheap streaming, but they always struggled with transcoding large files.

Now they run RaspPlex and haven't had an issue. Its also nice sitting in bed and watching shows on my phone off the NAS. If you have a few hundred $$ spare, it well worth building one.

Pic is NAS specs in case you were interested.

amd a10 5800k
16gb ram
radeon rx560 4gb

Awesome, thanks for sharing Sup Forumsro!

Definitely seems well worth the investment

Did you actually manage to get the 560 for a good price or was it overpriced because of miners?

never understood this whole transparent casing with LED fucking everywhere, even on fans
nigga I'm not looking at my PC, I'm playing games on it
Also its down by me desk and can't see it anyway, not that I would want shit glaring in my eye when I play

To visually display PCMR superiority

...

That better not be carpet under the tower

Al these flavors, and you choose to be Thermaltake...
