>What is Battle of Nations? The Battle of the Nations is an international historical medieval battles world championship, first held in 2009, in Kharkiv, Ukraine and held in Europe, in April, every year since. It is a full contact competition using metal weapons and a standardized list of rules. National teams compete in several standard events, with all being full contact - no stage reenactment battles are included. Teams from up to 25 countries have entered the tournaments.
Come support your countries! Discuss the battles and your countries armor and tactics!
I know its >Germany but >we are actually looking pretty good this year
Grayson Edwards
Are larger shields not allowed or people just don't use them because they're easier to hook and grab?
Dominic Perry
>the numbers are Dwayneing
What did he mean by this
Joseph Harris
Spain just got ANNEX'D
Camden Rodriguez
smaller shields are lighter, handier and also more effective at bashing
Jordan Gray
Small shields are more agile and better for kicking etc. I guess tower shields might be banned.
Yesh!
It'll go on till like 9 pm their time, ss don't worry too much.
Justin Lee
GOOD
What about Bestonia and other baltic countries?
Austin Turner
God bless.
Nope, no Baldicks this year I belive. Finland has 2 teams though so that sort of makes up for it. Also we have China, as a new country. So that's kinda cool.
Lucas Stewart
Has China fought anyone so far? If yes, how did they do?
Mason Bennett
MEDICO
Noah Reed
ERA PENAL?
Nicholas Collins
>it's been a year already
it feels like yesterday when that one finn practically crippled an argie
Parker Bell
Nope, they'll be in the 5v5s tomorrow. I think Turkey and Brazil are also new.
Zachary Peterson
Time for dinner see you hopefully tomorrow
Lincoln Hill
Well looks like I'll be missing most of the 5v5s, but at least I'll get to see the dools.
Jeremiah Campbell
>Over until tomorrow
n..no ;_;
Elijah Nguyen
It's ogre for today. Check for tomorrow's schedule.
Hunter Edwards
That's a shame because 5v5 is literally best
Joseph Butler
>that spanish guy in naked brigandine Is this common, are helmets standarized?
Zachary Long
Well, the fight is over. Now it's vodka time.
Dylan Carter
France is really good, this year
(or maybe the others are really bad)
Joshua Ramirez
Helmets are mandatory yeah, if that's what you meant.
Cameron Murphy
Well, the fight is over. Now is tracksuit time.
David Ramirez
...
Daniel White
I meant the models. Like Spain not having the middle ridge of a morion anywhere.
Grayson Bennett
How much golds russia already have?
Aaron Thompson
Oh not really. All just have to follow the rules detailing how they're designed etc.
Hunter Lewis
Checked out their website and apparently Sweden doesn't have a team. Guess I'll be rooting for Denmark and Finland instead
Zachary Hughes
No
John Mitchell
>tfw no legit medieval-like tournaments with sharp weapons and jousting
Logan Reed
Do they wear their own cultural armors?
Grayson Watson
I hope they will have fun this night with booze and cooked piggos.
Xavier Powell
...
Luis Myers
Spaniards were having a good time there. Also 4eye cutie.
Charles Adams
THE NOSE
Charles Lewis
>Day 3 >Women's events
Oh boy this takes >WMMA to a whole new level.
Cameron Turner
>No Why not?
Charles Nguyen
Sometimes but not always. Also some countries (Argentina, USA, Mexico, Canada, China, Brazil etc.) wouldn't be able to wear such armours for obvious reasons.
John King
Weird how Australia and fucking New Zealand have team(s) but not Sweden.
Christopher Turner
Even Luxembourg has a team, that's ridiculous
Angel Baker
What? She has a nice nose!
Jason Anderson
They would take Somali fighters, anyway
William King
You'd think something like this would be popular in Sweden. Especially since we host a HEMA event each year.
Samuel Robinson
Because vodka, vodka über alles. All the rest is not so important. I bet you've never drunk vodka at night near the bonfire.
Ryan Gonzalez
The inquisition was imperfect.
Cameron Robinson
>ywn get brugge'd by the bruggeman
Jonathan Lee
There are Swedish fighters but what I've understood is that there are some legal issues with the sport and swedes can't get insurance for this.
They do attend to IMCF but I guess they think it's safer due to a lack of russians.
William Thompson
Cool
Asher Reed
imagine her sweaty asscheeks and wet cunt
Julian Sanchez
I've drank rum, whiskey, and moonshine next to a bonfire. The only vodka I get is cheap plastic bottle vodka.
Joseph Powell
So sad. Moreover it's dangerous to drink alcohol from a plastic container.
Jeremiah Price
>you will never fug a girl who can easily kill you
Ayden Campbell
>I guess they think it's safer due to a lack of russians.
Probably, i did watch a russian kick a guy who was leaning against the list in the back last year. So if you have to chose between two events i guess it's better to chose the one with less risk of injury and higher chance of winning.
Hudson Lee
>the concorde used is from british airways
JUSTE
Hudson Wilson
>you will never fug a girl
Jason Peterson
imagine if someone with money actually spent the time and resources and got some sort of tv contract for this? would be ebin.
Gavin Myers
...
Andrew Roberts
...
Caleb Gray
The majority of my alcohol comes from plastic bottles
Koskenkorva and Viru Valge
I don't think it's low quality, just budget priced
Levi Cook
>I don't think it's low quality Perhaps, it's not, but plastic gradually being dissolved by alcohol and releases harmful substances.
Hunter Barnes
>Perhaps, it's not, but plastic gradually being dissolved by alcohol and releases harmful substances. this >friend brings some good bimber (moonshine) >pours into plastic cup >it literally dissolves and starts leaking
Jaxson Rogers
>tfw work tomorrow so won't be able to watch
Is there a round compilations afterwards?
Nathaniel Gomez
>gradually
heh a liter bottle barely lasts a day so no worries
