Tell me how you like it.
Cash / NiN: Hurt.
Siouxsie Sioux / Kraftwerk: Hall of Mirrors.
Jeff Buckley / Leonard Cohen: Hallelujah.
Fuck Jeff Buckley, Cohens is the definitive
uh an easy one is the marylin manson remix of This Is Halloween from the Nightmare Before Christmas. Another is the daft punk version of one more time by black eyed peas. Oh and there's a skrillex (I thiiiink it was skrillex) remix of Sexual Seduction that was great. Not a dubstep fan but that one was pretty dank IMO.
Crazy - Sugarcoma
Walk - Avenged Sevenfold
Hurt - Johnny Cash
Hendrix, All along the watchtower
sound of silence covered by disturbed
99 red balloons - goldfinger
Jimmy Hendrix all along the watchtower

don't matter if you like this type of music, you can not deny this is better than the original.

Not the biggest Pearl Jam fan, but love this cover. Gives me the feels.
Oh where oh where can my baby be. Cover by pearl jam. Original by some poof in the 50s

cover: youtube.com
original: youtube.com
Not bad for a remix.
Aye I just said that
Jimi Hendrix cover of Dylan's "All along the watchtower
Johnny Cash >>> NIN "Hurt"
>Jimmy
>James
I saw NiN in concert once, they were shit.
Shit 25 years ago, they didn't get better.
When the original artist flat out says that the song is no longer his, is the cover really a cover?
deadmou5 'survivalism'
Technically a remix
>they
Trent is the only official member of NIN
Alien Ant Farm / Michael Jackson "Smooth Criminal"
This guy gets it.
Look I love Leonard Cohen but tbh Jeff Buckley did a better job with that song.
Girls just wanna have fun by starfucker
correct
Zombie by leo m. Can't remember his last name but he does heavy metal covers off everything
NGHTMRE // Just a Gent : LIMELIGHT
It's a remix, but it's just that much better that I don't enjoy listening to Just a Gents original anymore.
Well then HE is shit, better?
Fuck man, I can't sing or play for shit but if I started a band right now, I'd surely improve over a couple of decades.
How come that fucker still sounds just as bad as he did back then?
wat you mean live or you just don't like his music?
Van halen - You really got me
Aerosmith - Come together
Motorhead - back door man
(just to trigger a few) Killswitch engage - Holy Diver
Last kiss by Pearl Jam
Is that the one about the car wreck
Van Halen - Dancin' In The Streets
fuck thats a great one.
you are a fgt both songs suck kill yourself please
Both I guess. They/He was a supporting act at the first gig I ever went to. I was only a kid so would have been trying hard to like it, but the overwhelming memory of that day all these years later (26) is that they were absolutely crap.
The other band was good, the headliners were brilliant. it was just them that ruined a nice day out.
I checked them out recently on youtube, no better.
love it
Luno - Death from Above 1979
Bloc party version is good but DFA 1979 sounds way better.
Disturbed - Sound of Silence
Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams
Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes
Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company
Come at me
Uncle Kracker - Drift Away
the majority of nirvana covers
the majority of jimi's covers

Heres one none of you have heard before: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ij6foFRNxx0
They Might be Giants covering a Destinys Child song
>Hurt - Johnny Cash

Fuck Limp Bizkit... that's one of The Who's best songs!
His music video almost brought me to tears first time i saw it, especially when you realize his wife died shortly after.
jewess
Motley Crue / Smokin in the Boys Room
came here to post this.
Disappointed Jimi wasn't first comment
Deftones - Simple Man > Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man
John Cale's is really the best version. All others were based off his.

it's actually amazing

Each cover of "Killing Me Softly" is better than the previous version.
Atticus Ross is officially a member, now, too. Also, fuck that old croaking frog Johnny Cash. I doubt if he'd even heard of Nine Inch Nails before Rick Rubin sat down in front of him and said "here, play these cover songs so that you can stay relevant to the younger generation."
I've never been to a live concert but nin is kind of an acquired taste. I didn't like in highschool when everyone did, but I like now. i don't think it would carry over very well live because it's very layered and sounds very different on studio headphones than even speakers.
original below. they (stanley bros) learned it from watching Bill Monroe play it, then recorded & released it before he did.
Blinded by the Light was Springsteen
>jesse
I'll be lazy & post one since the original & coverer are in the same vid:
WRONG ALL WRONG
Only people who think they should like johnny cash believe his version of Hurt is better than the original.
