You were arguing if X county is rep or dem. If X county has a city with 1,000,000 people that is dem, and 20 rural towns with a population in the 1,000 that are republican then X county is Dem

Outliers skew datasets. This isn't an outlier it's a huge portion of the sample. If you take it out then you just have a completely different dataset, which would show that sparely populated towns voted for Trump. No one would argue that.
