International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day in some countries,[1][2] is a celebration of labourers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labour movement, socialists, communists or anarchists and occurs every year on May Day (1 May), an ancient European spring festival.

>celebrating a commie holiday

should be a crime for NATO countries to celebrate it desu

Its actually because of you. This holiday is because of what occured in Illinois

haha butthurt porky scum

nigga its literally in youor own post
>an ancient European spring festival

What happened in Illinois?

>an ancient European spring festival.

American reading comprehension.

>murrisharts go to work on 1st of may

it doesn't take away from the fact that commies support it you stupid fucking euros

also isn't worshiping a bunch of fucking rocks also a ancient European tradition?
why aren't you doing that?

>May Day is a public holiday usually celebrated on May 1. It is an ancient northern hemisphere spring festival.[1] It is also a traditional spring holiday in many cultures. Dances, singing, and cake are usually part of the celebrations that the day includes.

>In the late 19th century, May Day was chosen as the date for International Workers' Day by the Socialists and Communists of the Second International to commemorate the Haymarket affair in Chicago. International Workers' Day may also be referred to as "May Day", but it is a different celebration from the traditional May Day.

It's just the same day socialists and communist usually hold their rallies. separate from the traditional celebration, but as you're american and judging from your earlier post i don't really expect you to understand anything i just said.

fuck capitalism and fuck you

t. Butthurt class cuck

oh that's what May Day is? on the map i posted the light blue countries are the ones that celebrate May Day, the dark blue celebrate the iternational workers day thing.

so that's what the red on your flag represents?

They prefer sucking the corporate cock to standing up for their rights and interests. They even have chosen a billionaire as a POTUS in a sillty hope that he has different interests with the Establishment. Can you believe it? The billionaire who doesn't share a common ground with the Establishment. That's just pathetic and sad.

>That's just pathetic and sad.

No
We call that 'laughs for years to come'
Kind of like that time they elected GWB Jr or the Russians "elected" Putin

Ah yes. Russia great country really cares about the workers. Not high krokodil and alcohol usage at all

In Germany, it was actually the Nazis that made May 1st a public holiday. Before that, it was rejected as a holiday because of the socialism

picking a literal KGB is better?

well they were socialist so why should that be a surprise?

fuck off porky

Batman is a billionaire.
Donald Trump is a billionaire.
Trump is batman

damn when did easter toad get so THICC

it's okay, we know where your trying to prevent yourself from being sent too :)

I know capitalism has it's flaws and all, but I can never take first world young men that have always lived on capitalist countries seriously when they get all flustered about it

Our voting system is rigged. You on the other hand have the perfectly working democracy and still somehow managed to fucked up lol.

A person you don't like winning isn't a failure of democracy

The other one would've nuked you :^) not gonna lie i liked that part of her platform

>America
>perfectly working democracy
Hillary won the popular vote, but Trump still became president

I wouldn't mind her nuking this shithole of a country .

>Getting this much buttblast from one yankee

Go to sleep, maybe you'll have something constructive to say when you wake up.

That's what they call 'electoral collage'. Still it's a better system than ours.

Oh shit it's today

If it was just based on the popular vote then like 3 states would decide every single election...

at least ours isn't just straight retarded

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_system_of_Germany

(((labor day)))

Still waiting for that grand ole proletarian revolution of yours to kick in. Any day now...

>If it was just based on the popular vote then like 3 states would decide every single election..
And? States still get to decide on plenty of things on their own, like education, legality of drugs, alcohol, driving age, sexual maturity, etc.
You might as well say state-level elections are unfair because people in big cities have more power than in small villages. Like if there's an election in the state of New York, then the people of New York city practically decide on their own because of the huge population.
How? We directly vote people and parties into Parliament. There's nothing retarded about that.

Americans hate work because they are fat

>Canada
>no
If you kill your enemies they win

A general strike perhaps?

>And?
A constitutionalist republic cannot survive within a system that rewards the thoughtless pleading of the plebs.
>You might as well say state-level elections are unfair because people in big cities have more power than in small villages.
Not all "big cities" are un-american Democrat breeding grounds; a South-Carolina, Georgia or Washington city-dweller will hold political opinions nearly identical to their rural in-state brethren, while the same does not hold weight for said parties in blue states.

Without an electoral college and strongly protected state´s rights, the dumb, sheltered urbanite masses of the most populous states would crash and burn the constitution without a second thought.

>There's nothing retarded about that.
It destroys rural values, which traditionally translates to decentralization of power and extensively guarded personal liberties, in favour of authoritarian tendencies intimately connected to concrete jungles. See: Hong Kong, Singapore.

Capitalism is going to die with automation and robots. Feels good

>Feels good
It will be replaced by a state-run, increasingly more coercive and less open totalitarian society. There´s nothing good about it, unless you are part of the politically, economically and socially heavily armed elite - which I highly doubt, given the childish nature of your reply in this thread.

>Watching the live speeches of left wing politicians right now
I like the idea behind the international workers day, but I'm a little tired of the socialist circle jerk that follows it.
Now that the socialists are in opposition, they are even more agressive in their rethoric on how the greedy corporations are usurping societys resources, while exhausting the earth.

Yeah maybe in 300 years

We're nowhere close to it
