Didn't like the first song very much. Sounds like beginner melody, the hook in the main riff sounds very uninspired. The vocals are pretty good still.
Really liked the second song. A bit underdeveloped but as expected from a first record. Impressive playing (at least for a pleb like myself).
Third one, kind of a mix between the two.
Overall, pretty good. If the cover was meant to be like Darkthrone 2 tone style, picrelated is what you had to go for

There are good band, and I'll never get the comparisons to nu metal or grunge because unlike either of those genres Acid Bath has always been very riff driven.
You probably need that 90s industrial influenced stuff like Godflesh's post-Streetcleaner stuff, KMFDM, Strapping Young Lad, and Fear Factory.
Anaal Nathrakh sorta has this very slick electronic music inspired production but with raw, intense riffs.
There's also Whourkr who make grindy metal with breakcore inspired drums.

Sounds like stoner rock, right? Some genres of music are basically slowed down versions of other. Stoner = slowed down hard rock. Post punk is often just slow new wave in minor. And so on.
I once spent several evenings just toying around in Audacity. Decided to give it a go again, slowed down Slayer to sound like sludge
