Outrageous Fortune/s

For an Aussie entry, the first two seasons of Fat Pizza. Low budget comedy kino right there.

bro'Town

the rover

>Low budget comedy kino right there
Speaking of Australian low budget comedy kino.

Review with Myles Barlow
Danger 5
Flight of the Conchords

>Dystopian
Spirits of the Air, Gremlins of the Clouds
Dead End Drive-In
The Blood of Heroes

Almost everything from both countries is shit.

>fat pizza
Disgusting. Don't listen to this user. If you want a good Australian sitcom watch The Adventures of Lano & Woodley.

Kettering Incident was pretty decent

Upper Middle Bogan is quite funny and always leaves me needing a big wank

Used to live in NZ, they've produced literally nothing of value except Police Ten 7 and Crowd Goes Wild. Cunts will try to tell you shit like Moon TV was good but they're fuckwits

Outrageous Fortune
Mighty Johnsons
Bro Town

The Kettering Incident

This

It is not going to make any sense to non-Kiwis

Also the first few seasons of Go Girls

Why not?

ITT dumb Americans who think NZ and Australia are the same thing.

>I didn't read the OP

Nobody said that.

NZ makes shit tv since the funding all goes to making maori/samaon shit

Pulp Sport is great but it's full of obscure 00s NZ sport jokes. It unfortunately got cancelled cause one of the show's main creators turned out to be a pedo

>It unfortunately got cancelled cause one of the show's main creators turned out to be a pedo

Pedo's a bit far m8 - surely we've all gotten a bit too shitfaced and mistakenly stumbled into our daughter's bed and touched her up a bit thinking it was the missus, right?

I love back of the y but it wouldn't make sense to anyone except kiwis and maybe aussies

Kek
I hear a lot of about that
Had no clue it was even an issue until I started watching Top of the Lake

Like rugby stuff?

Why? Some anons said the same thing about Brotown earlier
Im planning on watching all of these shows, so Id like to prepared for what might go over my head

>Also, dystopian movies welcome

There was weird as fuck NZ Sci-fi show that was on a few years back, I remember it being okay as well.

wait I found it:
youtube.com/watch?v=KEehuATK4v0

Sure m8

>Like rugby stuff?
Mostly. You'll find a lot of cricket and rugby league stuff there too, as well as a bunch of jokes about kiwi media personalities and politicians.

People are right in saying there's not many good NZ TV shows, especially not these days.

Soul Mates is an okay comedy though i think none aus/nz audiences wont get some jokes as 1 of the 4 time lines is completely focused on aus/nz rivalry and stereotype

>Why? Some anons said the same thing about Brotown earlier

The humour in Kiwi shows can be pretty local (i.e. jokes about certain cities being shitholes)

Hey it's Detective Gerard

Unauthorised history of new zealand is pretty good

>back of the y

Yeah they're alright. Still find myself thinking of this movie quite a bit because of the ball crushing scene which traumatised me pretty bad when I was younger

Ah ok. Yea, hopefully its not too bad
I remember watching some spanish comedy show and not understanding half of the things they were referencing about their pop culture

Check'd

they're not?

That and S2 DVD covers are pure kino.

Oi Pulp Sport was great

>this axe has been in my family for generations
>the head has been replaced three times and the handle six times
>so its not really the same axe is it
>its the same axe

How can you not enjoy moon tv you shitter

I'm not actually from NZ so I have no reason to enjoy it considering it's not very funny

Not a show, but What We Do In The Shadows is fantastic.

Also seconding Danger 5.

>Review with Myles Barlow
>Danger 5
>Flight of the Conchords

You have patrician taste.

police ten seven
motorway patrol

I think most of the good kiwi TV shows wouldn't be understood by people who have never been here or dont know much about the country.

flight of the conchords isnt considered patrician in new zealand

Would have actually been good if it didn't seem like the writers left half way through the season

Summer Heights High is pure aussie kino

youtube.com/watch?v=ibew-vGffH0

top quality political incorrect kino right here boys

youtube.com/watch?v=umT0qvxzmHw

Always Blow on the Pie is an underrated meme t b h

my favourite scene is where theres this guy walking along the side of the motorway (illegal) and the police pull up and he says he'll get off the motorway if the officiers roll him a ciggie. the female officier goes to start rolling one and the after being confused for a bit turns to the male officer and says "ron, i cant roll"

pure kino

the news is always worth a watch
