Why didn't they just kick in the door after they got the gun ?

why didn't they just kick in the door after they got the gun ?

Why didn't they just make a good movie?

If there was gonna be a scene for the police to investigate they wanted it outside, thats why Prof X insisted on the police's arrival, so they would step out

lol

This might be more to your liking.

You're entitled to your taste man but let's not get pseud here

What the fuck was up with Patrick Stewart's accent? What was he supposed to be?

lol are you fucking kidding me? Have you never been on this board?

but they let at least one of the punks get killed by their dogs inside their club house anyway and also later seemed to take no issue with trying to let the dogs kill them inside.
if their goal was to have bodys mauled by their dogs as a result of trespassing why didnt they just kick in the door and force the punks to go outside with their guns ?

>getting snooty over slasher and horror flicks

I didn't think his was possible

>their goal was to have bodys mauled by their dogs as a result of trespassing

Did they really think that would hold up to the police's bullshit meter? What a stupid fucking idea

>Being negative about a movie that actually did something new.

No, sorry, this one might be for you. It'll have all the possessions you need.

>did something new

I think you're confusing this with Don't Breathe

Why did they give them back the gun?

Why did they give them back the gun after they told them they wouldn't give them a cell phone? I mean, if you're only worried about an illegal gun and want to see the problem resolved peacefully, you shouldn't have a problem with giving the other party a cell phone (especially after telling them police were on their way).

Movie is garbage.

There IS a point where Prof X says that 'forensics are no longer an issue' and that they could 'make it messy' or somthing like that, meaning that the whole bar was compromised and it was to be cleaned. I guess they didnt want to kick in the door just to prove how suave Patrick's role was. In the end if i was the owner of a Nazi punk club where murders have surely taken place before i would be just as cautious as he was.

Wow yeah the brand new trope of 'urban outsiders travel into rural area and get into trouble with the rural locals'

Oh but it's different because they're a punk band

I dont understand why the violence level escalated at all. Why wouldnt they have just told the band to fuck off immediately when they saw the girl and lie later and say "she's fine we sent her to the hospital" etc.

Don't Breathe was shit. Every character was a cliche. The whole "one last job" trope. It's also pretty bad when you're rooting for the villain to win.

If thats all you saw different maybe you should check it again
What I found refreshing is the cinematography, it was cool not seeing extreme close ups of wounds or cutscenes. It kept a real-time feel with each death and didnt linger with any get-to-know time with the characters. It delivered

The band could have called the police numbnuts

ikr and Anton immediately calling the cops right in front of them. fucking stupid

>why didn't the 20 year old punk rockers make perfect decisions, shit movie
Autism in this thread

thisHollywood just keeps churning out ghost movies and gore porn.

But why would they? There was very little that implied the band gave a fuck.
"Oh that it was nothing? Happens all the time" "Oh okay"

Thats a better sell than the later "Hey give us the gun and come out here after weve confirmed you witnessed someone die. We just wanna talk"

Yeah, but immediately getting on your phone is probably the dumbest thing you can do.

>But why would they?
Because there was a girl with a knife sticking out of her skull
>There was very little that implied the band gave a fuck

nigga they snatched the phone off his hand AS he was dialing 911

Cant we just talk about how qt Poots was?

Oh was it her head? I was remembering it as her chest for some reason. And yeah I mean at the point he was dialing all hell had definitely broken loose. I mean just in general it seems like an easy reflex to see the band, stand and cover their field of vision immediately, tell them to go, explain it later.

Regardless the film is shit for reasons totally separate from that scene it just bugs me that the film asks for too much of a suspension of disbelief regarding the characters.

Poots is the first one to speak out and tells the guy to call 911.

In the end it depends on what you want for in a movie. I actually see it oposite from you and felt like the characters were disposable, so that made it a good movie for me

>ywn have an autistic arian waifu
what does living even mean

Yeah absolutely, iirc the film got critical acclaim so there are people who definitely liked it. I just couldnt at all get into it and the whole act once they escape the house just felt like such an unnecessary drag.

"Why do people who aren't trained for intense combat situations, terrified, and not sitting in an armchair critiquing a film from the safety and comfort of their own home? Why are one or more of them making irrational decisions due to the intense fear that's rushing through their nervous system?"

Some day you children might learn. Some day. I imagine that won't be today, however.
